Chapter 78: Flashbacks To Friendship

Kennedy's POV

I was laying in my bed watching Criminal Minds on TV. I've been laying in bed all day, and I'm not even sad about it.

I was off school for Spring break so I was taking it for granted. And Chase was going to spend time with me until we have to go back to school.

"Knock knock" I hear. I look over at my door and it was Chase with a McDonalds bag.

"What's up Buzzcut?" I smile getting up from my bed.

"I've never wanted my hair to grow out so bad in my entire life" he groans and I giggle.

"Hi Chase" I say and hug him tightly.

"Hi Ken" he smiles "Look what I brought" he asks holding up the McDonalds bag and a Sweet Tea.

"I love you" I say kissing his cheek and taking the bag and running to my bed. He shakes his head and slips off his shoes. He comes over and lays down.

I grab a fry and hold it in front of his face. He opens his mouth and I feed it to him.

"What have you done so far for Spring break?" I ask him as I eat a chicken nugget.

"It's funny that you think I've done something" he smiles.

"Well I didn't know if you like went anywhere or something"

"My first priority was coming over here and doing absolutely nothing with you"

"Awe, good"

"Blaney asked what I was doing and he wanted to hang out but I told him I was coming over here. He might come over sometime this week if that's okay"

"As long as he hangs out with me too" I smile.

"You're the kind of person everyone wants to hang out with Ken"

"Good" I say and he smiles.

"You know what you should let me do?" I ask pointing a fry at him.

"Nothing? That would be great!"

"Wax off some of your leg hair"

"No" he says sternly.

"Come on, why not?"

"It's gonna hurt!"

"If you loved me enough, you would let me"

"I don't love you that much!"

"How rude. Come on, one strip of leg hair!"

"It's in the Spring! I'll be wearing shorts!"

"From your thigh then"

"Ken, that would hurt worse"

"No it wouldn't, don't you have less leg hair on your thigh?"

"Maybe..."

"Come on Chase. I'll leave you alone if you do it"

"Kennedy..."

"Please?" I ask and lay on top of him.
