Pagkapasok namin sa kwarto ay handa na ang tutulugan ng mga darating na kasama namin mamaya.
Pinagtaasan ko ng kilay si George ng sumalampak sya sa mga foam na nakaayos sa lapag pagkatapos nyang magbihis.
"Since we're friends na at nauna naman tayong umuwi, tumabi ka sakin. Maluwang pa yung kama ko."
Then I saw a disagreement in her eyes which made me raised my eyebrows even more.
"Ano? Tititigan mo lang ako?"
Umiling ito at ngumisi. "No.. It's just that.. I feel awkward. You are straight and I am not."
"So? It's not like you're gonna rape me or what?" I laughed, it made her smile.
"Mga kaibigan ko nga katabi ko pa ring natutulog kahit na.. alam mo na? Ikaw pa kaya? You are my friend and I give you my trust."
Tumango sya at saka lumapit sa kama ko. Humiga kami ng sabay at saka nagtinginan.. It feels weird na I feel comfortable. I don't feel any awkwardness na kahit kasya ang lima sa kama ko ay lumapit ako sa tabi nya.
"Thank you, Georgina."
"For what?"
"For sharing your story.. You know it's really hard to open up something like that to someone you just met. It feels like you gave me your whole trust.. I shall not break it."
"Siguro kasi palagay ako sayo. I'm not usually like this, you know? Sa mga piling tao lang ako ganito.. Kapag sa iba I'm just neutral."
"So thank you.."
"No. I should be the one thanking you, Niña Denisse. For accepting us. For the understanding.. I am really glad that I found you."
"I am really glad you have found me, G."
I felt her warm hands into mine so I smiled. "You just gave me a new name!" sigaw nito.
"Masyadong mahaba yung Georgina Yra-Lacuesta mo, e."
"Masyado ring mahaba iyong Niña Denisse mo. Wait, what's your whole name again?"
"I am Niña Dennise Garcia-Lopez."
"Lopez? Wait.. You are a Lopez? Hindi ka naman siguro connected sa--"
"My father owns the Lopez Internationals."
I could die that moment when I saw her face. It was really bothering that I laughed hard!
"You should have seen your face!"
