Tom's POV
I waited patiently in the almost empty classroom, marking a few papers here and there. The headmistress had told me on my first day that the teachers must wait for the kids parents to pick them up for they were not allowed to wait outside unattended. So here I am,waiting for Matthew's, Finn's, and Gabby's parents to arrive and pick them up. And yes,I've learnt their names already. In order to be a good role model to children I must first at least know their names. Yes,I know. I sound completely geeky there.

While I waiting for the parents,I'm also waiting for Julia as I'm about to give her a tour of the school. I know my way around like it's been lodged in the back of my brain. I've been touring this place myself these past few weeks.

As I was marking an assignment that we were doing in class earlier in the day, Finn walked up to my desk and patted it lightly, asking for my attention. I looked up and said,"Yes,Finn?"

"Where's my mommy? We're getting bored colouring." He whined.

"I'm sure she's on her way right now. There's probably traffic going on at the moment. It's pouring outside." I reassured him with a smile and patted his shoulder as he walked back to his little desk.

As I was checking a paper,my mind couldn't help but wander off. Maybe that's why Julia's a bit late, traffic. I don't know. Maybe she decided to not show up last minute. I tapped my red pen on the paper, staring out the window as it rained. I heard a soft knock coming from my right side. A lady with lightly damp hair, due to the rain I'm guessing. She gave me a stressful and apologetic smile. I got up from my seat and walked towards her. "Good afternoon,Mr. Watson. I'm so sorry, the rain is so troublesome these days." She said, closing her yellow umbrella.

"It's quite alright,Mrs. Larson. I completely understand," I smiled. "Gabby, your mother is here." I called out.

She got up,grabbing her belongings and stuffing them inside her Dora The Explorer backpack gracefully but quickly. She said a quick goodbye to her friends and her little feet came running towards the door.

"Goodbye,Mr. Watson." She said her farewell with an adorable smile, running out the door before her mother could catch up with her. I heard a slight clashing sound and a sorry here and there, like someone had bumped into another person. Mrs. Larson looked at me and shook her head with a sigh, chuckling after that.

I stepped out of class to see what the commotion was about. Walking out,I myself nearly bumped into a person. Or rather Julia. She gasped and I smiled, she actually showed up.

"What's up with people bumping into each other here?" She started. "Is it a tradition or something?" She joked. I didn't answer right away,I was too lost in thoughts. She was just too beautiful for words. I've basically seen her yesterday and the day after that and so on yet I can't help but think about how beautiful she is all the time. I can't believe she actually stuck to her words. I didn't actually think she'd come. Why would any girl want a tour of a kindergarten? That's right. No one except Julia. And why would a guy ask a girl if she'd like a tour of one? Real smooth,Tom. Why did I ever asked her for this tour? It's really unnecessary. Yet I asked her anyways. And she said yes. And now I'm stuck. I stared into her eyes that were staring into mine intensely. I immediately snapped out of it.
