Raylina

After I know Emily is asleep I crawl out of her grasp, and hop off her bed walking out of her room. I need to see when the Alpha and I are going to have practice. I walk pass the few doors separating Emily's crazy pink door from the Alphas shut office door. Great.

The next best way to get in is to make it where he hears me. I start clawing on the door, just so it's at the point where the Alpha can hear me. I don't see any sign of him hearing me, so I keep clawing, but I claw a but louder, and he finally opens the door. Jeez that took some effort.

"Oh Raylina it's just you come-on in." He motions for me to come in to his office, in which I do. He then shuts the door behind me, and I immediately shift into my human form.

"It feels so good to be in human form again." I yawn a bit stretching out my back.

"I thought you would have forgotten, about your piano lessons, but it looks like you didn't." He laughed a bit as he starts stacking papers, and cleaning up his work from today.

"Yea, I thought that I would have missed out, if I tried leaving while Emily was still awake... She really does like cats." I chuckle a bit remembering that I over heard her ask her mother if she could get some clothes to dress me up in... Even though I would hate the thought of being used like a mindless inanimate doll, I would still do it to see her cute little smile.

"I always thought dogs hate cats, but their's my daughter proving me wrong... like always." He laughs, as I sit down, my limbs stretched enough for now.

"Anyways... back to where we left off. How about after tonight I teach you more piano every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday?" He asks looking at his computer while typing something to which I just asume it's just a document of his progress today... My father always did that before he left his office on late nights.

"Yea it sounds great, so does that mean I wait until tomorrow to start?" I look at him, and he checks his watch.

"No, we'll practice tonight, and tomorrow, then on Thursday, we will continue from where we left off. Sound good?" I nodded in response not wanting my eagerness to slip through my voice, but it still slips out through my smile.

Knowk! Knowk!

Is it just me, or did the knocking on the door, sound like it was squawking? With out the reply of the Alpha, the door starts to open, and I immediately shift back to my cat form in record breaking time. Just barely quick enough.

"Who were you talking to dad?" Ugh just my luck- the Alpha's son -Chase- comes barging in the room. Dang it.

"The cat. Who else would I be talking to?" Chase gives his father a look saying he's crazy, and in return the Alpha gives his son a weird lopsided grin back, making Chase laugh.

I then sneeze, interrupting both of them, but they just bust out laughing even more for some reason. Boys...

Chase goes to sit down from laughing so hard, but stops, when he realizes that I'm already in the seat he was just about to take, so in return I glare up at him daring him to try and move me again. He instantly steps to the side and sats in the other chair besides mine. Looks like he's finally learning.

Once the laughing finally dies down between them they both catch their breaths, while I keep looking at them weirdly.

"So did Emily name her new little Satan?" I hiss at him for his little remark. "Sorry... Cat." Wait did he just Mock me. He will pay for that one.

"No, she's just been calling her kitty, but she does indeed have a name." The Alpha continues cleaning up the last of his mess for the night as he speaks.

"Who named her then?" Chase gives him a skeptical look.

"Who else? Her parents." He looks up from his papers to Chase just for a second.

"You mean her old owners? I thought the cat was a stray, that was found as a kit." He sounds so confused at his father's words. Hilarious...

"No I mean her parents." He looks at his son who's dumbfounded for not knowing the simplest thing in the world. Then again in not so much cuz he just think in a normal, but evil cat.

"But, Cats can't talk..." He looks at his dad completely confused. I want to laugh even in cat form in this moment. Thankfully the Alpha gives up on making his point and rolls his eyes lying to his son.

"No when a cat -or kit- is adopted, the store owner is know as their 'parents' if that's not to difficult for you." He makes himself sound exasperated just giving up on his son. I'm loving this!

"Oh... ok... Well what's her name then, so I know how to mention this little Demon without being hissed at." I would've hissed, but instead I just played down on the chair not hating the nickname because it isn't... Annoying, and offensive to me. In return I get a weird look from both Chase, and the Alpha.

"Well you could call her demon without her hissing at you. She seems to like that, but her name is Raylina." At this I see Chase stiffen, but nod even so.

"Well I might want to go, before the little Demon makes me leave." He stands up, and tries to pet me before he leaves, but I hiss at him and he pulls back rather quickly. Looks like dogs really can be taught.
