"What are you talking about. He's alive! I spoke to him the other day. Stop lying to me. Stop trying to get in my head. You're only saying this to make me stay. Because you love me. Right... I wasn't that drunk, I remember. Leave me alone and stop lying to me. Maybe you're the reason Finn killed himself!" I screamed, flinging the door shut as I ran out of Jacobs room.
I can't believe I said that out loud. What have you done now, Bella? You've got yourself into a mess like you always do because you can't keep your stupid mouth shut! Tears trickled down my cheeks, flooding my face.
Hurrying, I packed my bags wanting to get out of here. I grabbed Finn's journal- the only thing I could rely on- the truth.Rushing down the stairs, I slammed the door shut unintentionally, later hoping that Mr and Mrs Elliot didn't hear.
My hands shook in fury as I remembered that I couldn't drive. What the heck am I supposed to do now! I walked to a park bench a few miles away, hoping that Jacob wouldn't follow.
I grabbed the journal out of my handbag, skimming through the dates. 1989, 1990. That's right, when we started uni.
Let's read it from the beginning.
Uncover the truth. Is he dead or alive?
Someone's lying to me and I'm going to find out who.
