"Hey beautiful, want to go out for dinner?" I asked, starting at Bella's eyes.
Bella nodded," what's the occasion?"
"Nothing. I just wanted to spend time with you. I love you," I said, kissing Bella's soft lips.
Bella agreed to come to dinner with me. She wore a blue dress. A light blue- the colour of tears. Her hair curled down the back of her spine. I kissed her desperately, longing to be there for her forever.
We arrived at the restaurant. Bella was happy. Her happiness was all I ever wanted. Her smile would be embedded in my heart for a lifetime.
"Bella," I spoke softly, as we walked through the green grass.
"Yes Finn," she replied, standing still in front of me.
The grass was emerald green and very tall from the wonderful summer we had.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry for everything and this," I whimpered vaguely.
"What are you talking about, Finn? What's happened?" Bella questioned harshly. My heart beat racing faster and faster.
"I can't do this anymore," I replied.
"Do what?"
"Us. I can't be in this relationship anymore. I'm sorry. I love you."tears cascaded down my cheeks, I wiped them before Bella could notice.
"What the hell, Finn. Your talking nonsense. If you loved me you would be staying in this relationship!" She yelled.
I placed my hands on her face, wiping away her tears with my thumbs.
"I love you too much. Sometimes you have to let the ones you love go. Sometimes it's the best thing to do. For both our sakes," I said.
"I love you Finn. Goodbye." She spoke, reaching towards her neck and tugging the necklace until it unfastened. She placed the necklace in my hand, closing it shut with hers.
I kissed her.
I kissed her desperately.
Longing to stay with her forever but realising I had no choice.
I kissed her goodbye, as we both walked our separate ways. Her smell: strawberries and perfume embedded in my mind forever. Her smile, bright enough to last me for an eternity. Her hair, smoother and softer than silk. Her skin, warm and pale like snow.
Isabella Hunter. The one I had to let go. But not really, after all we were soul mates. One day we would find each other again.
I will wait for you Bella. I will wait for you and love you always.
