I stood there shivering in the chilly morning air. Why does November have to be so cold?
(A/N: Yes, I know Mackenzie's bday is actually in summer, but whatever! :) )
When the bus finally got to my stop, I stepped on, the happiest I'd been in a long time! Tonight I'll go to the bakery and buy myself a birthday cupcake. I thought smiling.
