Not "as usual"(on hold)

The next two periods of economics and commerce passed away quicker than usual. It was around 10:45 in the eco class when i closed my eyes for five minuites and BOOM. It was 11:30. The break bell rang pulling me out of sleep. Sabina took psychology as her subject and thus did not share eco and commerce classes with me making them ten times more boring. I was just heading for the canteen when something caught my attention. REY. Sabina said that he was the only one who actually caught my attention nowadays. But hold on. What were those mean boys from the other section doing to him. OMG did i just see a book being thrown at him? I rushed to the spot of the incidence. 

"what the hell do you guys think you are doing?" i shouted and one of the guys leg stopped mid-air saving rey's glasses from being crushed. I swear i would have destroyed this guy if he would even dare to destroy these cute glasses. I mean they are one of my favorite things about rey and also one thing that keeps away many girls from stealing him from me. 

"i want all five of yours names and role numbers." i demanded.Being the head girl had its own advantages. "right now" i said as rey bent down to scan for his glasses. I bent down myself and picked up his books and handed them to him. "th- thank you." he said weakly. 

"now are you guys telling me your names or do you want me to force it out of you?" i asked annoyed. 

"any help here sister?" vicky said coming from behind. This really scared those monsters. 

"akaash J712" 

"mayank J321" 

"viraaj J456" 

"rajesh J111" they said one after the other and i noted them down. I am going to make sure they are punished. I mean..isn't bullying punishable by law anyways? 

"apolagize" vicky said to the boys. 

"apolagize to rey" i said. 

"sorry" they said together after a few minuites of hesitation. 

"Its- its ok" said rey still looking at the ground. 

"i'll catch you later in the canteen" vicky said and rushed away. Those monsters scurried away as soon as vicky left.  

"th-thanku ridhi" rey said. 

"anytime" i replied. I was just turning to leave when he asked "ridhi?can i ask you something?"  

" yeah?" 

"how do you know my name?" oh shitt. I could ofcource not tell him that i have a major crush on him from the past two years right? "umm...english class.We are partners. Remember?" Phew. that came on time. 

"right. S-so when are we meeting to discuss a-about the project?"  

"today. Home bell. parking lot. near my car? I can drop you and we can discuss on the way. sounds good?" i asked hoping he would say yes. 

"s-sounds good. 3:10 then?" 

"yes.Be on time."  

"i will." he said and turned away as fast as possible dropping his books. Once again i picked them up for him. He numbled a thank you. 

"would you like to join us for lunch?" i asked hopefully. 

"got s-some library work.s-sorry. tomorrow mayebe." 

"no problem.see ya!" 

I wish he stopped staring at the ground and looked into my eyes more often.But I also wish he remains clumpsy forever. Makes him cuter plus i enjoy picking up his books. wierd. I know. In every book and every movie guys keep picking up books and other stuff for girls. I always found it funny. Now i understand exactly why they enjoyed it. 

I jogged towards the canteen in a haze knowing Sabina would get mad if i went late. 

"and here comes the dark chocolate princess, sleep godess and eastwood's headgirl herself, to enlighten our lives and increase the lunch tables worth." Shaun announced in a ceremoneous manner making it obvious that they were annoyed about mine being late. 

"tan-tadan-tadaaaa" vicky added background music. I bowed. 

"what in this whole world took you so long?" sabina asked in an angry tone. 

"long story. Tell you later.Where are Shreya and Aditya?" i asked. Both of them were other two members from our group who shared the lunch table with us. Shreya was in the cheerleading team and aditya on the football team. Both of them were currently dating each other. 

"think of the devils and the devils appear" said vicky pointing to the direction from where both of them came with their lunch trays in their hands and joined us. 

"this reminds me, why arn't you eating Ridhs? you'll get a stomach ache later." vicky asked. He never let me go a day without eating lunch. He knew exactly how to get his way with me when it came to lunch. 

"stop acting like my mother. I will have it after some time." 

"You know you are not getting away with it. Why do you even try?" he said and got up to get lunch for me.uugghh. 

"but i am not even slightest bit hungry" i complained. He ignored and went away. 

"give up ridhs. You know you will have to eat it or vicky is anyway going to force it down your throat. You do not want him to spoonfeed you in front of the entire school right?" Shreya asked. I gave up here. Believe it or not but he actually spoonfed me in front of the entire school one day when i was upset and refused to eat anything. Every single passerby stared at us for a few minuites and then numbled an "awww". Gross. Like totally. "Vicky knows exactly how to embarress you in front of the whole world." i said. 

"but he is a sweetheart." Sab commented 

and i did a mental happy dance.Thank you sabina. This time i am going to make my brother blush to death and tease him about this comment for the rest of his peacefull existence making it not-so-peaceful for him. I evil smiled and gave myself a mental hi-5.

A/N-- ok..so i am not totally satisfied with this chapter but i have my monthly tests going on so i guess that is a good enough excuse?
