Don't you see?

I stared into the dark eyes right infront of me.

"Mitch...."

"H....hi Scott.."

"What....what are you doing here?" I asked, dumbfounded. Mitch smiled meekly.

"I swear I wasn't eavesdropping."

"Yeah I didn't think so." I looked him over. He had grown like three inches taller and his fangs were even pointier than before.

Wait.

Fangs?

"Mitch where is your..." I pointed at his mouth. He blinked innocently.

"What?" He asked.

"Fake teeth." I hissed. He laughed, showing his bright fangs.

"Oh that silly thing? I stopped wearing that ages ago. Transylvania is the town for vampires. Vampires are everywhere."

I stared at him. He was so much diffrent than before. Five years ago, when I last saw him, he was drenched in hurt and misery.

But now he was full of confidence and pride.
His purple hair shone brighter and his shoulders were bolder.

"Mitch I'm sorry. For everything. And.."

"Scott don't. Please. Forget about me."

"I cannot. You heard me talk to Alex. I can't forget about you. I love you."

"No Scott, I'm sorry."

"Mitch let's talk, okay?" I grabbed his wrist and pulled bim close. "Let's go to a cafe or some where and just-"

Mitch slapped my arm away, sharpish.
His dark eyes swirled with hate.
"Get your filthy hands off me." He growled.

I blinked. "Mitch.."

"Don't you see? I don't want you. I never wanted you. You're just a human with sweet blood. You're food to me. Food."

"Baby don't say that.."

"I'm not your baby anymore."

He started to walk away, but stopped.

"Not like I ever were."

***

"Oh what took you so long?" Elisha called as I entered Starbucks. "Alex cling to you too much?"

"Nah. It just...took me some time to clear up my mind a bit. Don't worry, I'm gonna talk to him sooner or later."

She nodded. "That's nice."

I sat down, still a little dazed.
Mitch was here, in Transylvania
And he still hated me.

I knew he would, but knowing that and actually facing the fact that he hated me were two very diffrent things.

Then I noticed something odd.

"Hey where's Lulu? And Avi?"

"Oh Avi went home. And Lulu's just gone for some ice cream. She'll be back soon enough."

I raised an eyebrow. "Ice cream..? We're in Starbucks."

"Yeah I know. She told me you seemed sad and she believes ice cream can make it all better."

"Let me guess, she's addicted to ice cream?"

"Yep."

Right then, Lulu entered. She had a big bag full of ice cream pints. She grinned.
"Heyy. Come out. Ice cream's waiting."

We all walked out.

I took a chocolate one. "Ayyyeeee. CI! I love a good CI once in a while."

"CI?"

"Chocolate Ice cream, idiot."

Lulu made a face. "Egh. I HATE chocolate Ice cream."

I raised an eyebrow. "Oh?"

Mitch hated chocolate icecream.
But he loved chocolate.

"Hey L."

She stared at me. "Hmm?"

I handed her a piece of chocolate which happened to be in my pocket. "Want some?"

She nodded slowly. "Yeah. Sure."

Oh?
Ohhh????

This girl was getting to be more and more like Mitch. I looked her over. This was weird.
Then I notice the gloves on Lulu's hands.

It covered up every bit of her arms except her fingers. I nodded slowly.

"Lulu."

"WHAT"

"Can I talk to you for a second?"

***

"What is it, Scott?" Lulu asked as I pulled her behind an alley. "I really have to-"

I grabbed her wrist and ripped the gloves off.

I stared at the scars and knife marks with wide eyes. The deep dark scars that stuck in my heart five years ago.

The pair of dark eyes met mine.

"Mitch Grassi." I said softly.

"What are you doing in the body of a girl?"
