Mitch's POV
A few days after me and Scott kissed, I woke up, my head hurting.
"Mmm....Mitch?" Scott said from next to me.
I rolled over and faced him. "Morning."
"Sleep well?"
I shook my head, burring my head in my pillow. "Not really. Someone snored so much."
The someone laughed guiltily. "I'm sorry."
"Nah, it's alright." I touched his cheek. "I'm still happy."
"I love you." Scott blurted out.
"Me too."
"Mitchie." The blonde looked at me with real love.
"Yes Scottie?"
"C...can I kiss you?"
I chuckled. "Hmm. I don't know. I only kiss guys who I share a room with." I smiled.
"You know, I happen to know a guy for that." Scott leaned in and kissed me, both of us still in my bed. "Morning."
****
We got out of bed and walked to the breakfast table. No one was there.
"Hmm." Scott pulled out his buzzing iPhone. "Hello?"
Silence.
"Really? Oh. Okay. Gottcha. Wait, where? Okay. Bye."
Scott hung up and looked at me. "I'm sorry babe. I gotta run. Modeling biz. Uhm....Alex isn't come home for days now so you don't have to worry about him.
And I'm sure Avi and Elisha will be here soon. I'm sorry babe. I gotta go."I nodded. "I understand."
"Good. Just good. Thanks." He rushed out. "Don't worry!"
-ten hours later, seven thirty PM-
The door opened and Scott rushed in, his hair and clothes wet. I turned the TV off and rushed over.
"Hey...is's raining outside? Why didn't you call me, I could've taken it to you."
He shugged. "Then you'd get wet. I didn't want you to go through all that."
"...But still. Oh you're soaking wet. I gotta wash you down. Come here."
"Thanks Mitchie. But I'm fine. Is Avi or Elisha home?"
I shook my head. "Neither. They didn't even call. All day. I was home alone."
Scott frowned. "Really? They didn't call me either. I'm starting to get worried.." He stood and walked over to the house phone. But he didn't get the chance to call either of them.
The door swung open and Elisha walked in, folding her umbrella. She took one look at Scott and me and shrieked, backing up.
I stood instantly. "Elisha? What is it? What's-"
"W...why is he still HERE?!" She yelled, pointing at Scott. He started to walk over but stopped when Elisha kept yelling.
"ELISHA!!" I yelled at her. She didn't stop.
I had no choice.
I slapped her.She stopped, head turned.
"What do you mean, 'he's still here'?"
"I mean, I told the vampire counsel on you. They were here to get you."
My head went blank.
A vampire counsel is a small group of vampires to make sure the vampires around the world don't do anything wrong.
The most biggest example is vampires dating mortals.
Punishment?
Let's just say....in my case, one of us gets killed.
"You.....did.......WHAT?!" I shrieked, shaking her. "YOU TOLD THE COUNSEL ON US?!! WHAT THE FUCK, ELISHA?!!!"
Elisha sighed. "YOU GUYS KISSED! IT'S AGAINST THE VAMPIRE RULES! I HAD TO! IT WAS FOR THE BEST!!!"
"WE COULD'VE DIED, ELISHA."
Scott backed me up with one of his, "Not cool"s.
"But you didn't!" Then Elisha's face paled. "Why."
"Maybe you got the date wrong." Scott suggested.
Elisha shook her head. "No. They sent me a message that the brutal mortal had bern arrested. Then who....."
A thought flashed through my head and I paled.
"No..."
A man stupid enough to take Scott's place.
A man who loved me.
A man who was just stading by when I kissed Scott.
Scott looked at me. "What is it, sweetheart?"
"No no no no!!" I shrieked and ran out the door. Rain seeped through my clothes and wet my skin. Tears streamed down my already wet face and dropped to the ground.
I think Scott called after me then but I didn't hear.
I couldn't let him die.
I had to save him.
I had to save Avi.
