the whole chapter in third person POV
Monday
The video spread like a bad disease. Slow but powerful. By the end of the day every police station in Texas was looking for the Vampire Lulu.
Tuesday
The news twittled and skittled and crossed out of the country to the whole of America. Everyone knew and wanted to know what would happen Friday night.
Wednesday
Ten new people died in Texas. Five in LA. Seven in New York. All with fang marks on their neck. The news people said it was impossible for one little vampire to do such a thing and promised to catch everyone responsible.
Thursday
After seven more people were found dead with the marks, the government took control and got the women and children to stay in their homes no matter what. Men were allowed out but only for a few hours and within reason.
Friday
Everyone was very excited to found out what would happen that night. Many bet their money on the RH, since they were the famous hunting company after all.
But there were some who bet their money on the small vampire as well. Even though they were a small number, they were the ones who had believed in forever peace with the vampires.
And there was one man in particular who prayed and believed the small little vampire would survive. He knew the little man would come back like he always did.
Even though he couldn't be with him.
Even though he could never say so again...
He believed in him.
And he watched from a distance, the only place he could ever be without hurting him.
His green eyes crackling.
He believed.
He believed Mitch Grassi would come back.
Because he loved him.
Because he will always love him.
No matter where he was.

"Sire?" A small voice called out. "It's seven thirty. It's time."
Rick Hoying waved his hand at the man standing by the doorway. His ice blue eyes stared out the dark sky. Lightning crashed and a smile came to his lips.
"Time," he mused. He laughed. "yes. I guess it is."
Then he snapped his fingers. "Take that to the van." He ordered, and the honey brunette grasped the large cage in the middle of the room. "Come on sweetie." He said with a smirk on his lips.
"It's time."
