"BREAKFEAST BITCHESSSSSSSSSSSSSS"

I groaned, my head hurting like crazy. Elisha was banging a pot with a spoon, waking us all up. Next to me, Mitch was sleeping, crawled up into a ball.

I decided not to wake him. I slipped out of bed.

"....What's this?" I asked as I saw the green eggs and what seemed like pancakes.

Elisha shrugged. "What? It's an eatable meal."

"....It's gross."

"You didn't even try it."

"I don't think I have to,"

Elisha groaned. "Then don't eat it. AVI!! BREAKFEASTTTTT"

Avi ran down the stairs and slipped onto a chair. "Oh goody. My fav." Then he started eating. I blinked rapidly as I saw the green food disappear.

"....How can you eat that?" I asked him. He blinked, noticing me for the first time.

"It's good, trust me!"

"I don't.."

"Try!" he shoved a spoonful of muck into my mouth. I squealed, then stopped.
It all tasted magnificent.

I grasped my spoon and shoved the green eggs down my throat. "This is really really good. How can it taste this good when it looks this bad?"

Elsiha smirked. "It's the opposite of me. I look great but I'm bitter. My food looks bitter but tastes great."

"Did you make it with magic?" I asked, chewing fast on the pancake batter. "I don't believe you can make something like this."

"Thank you?" Then she sighed. "But I do need a little help with the cooking now that three people eat."

I shrugged. "I can go shopping later. But first I have a gig with Alex at a school."

Avi nodded. "Yeah and I can get some burgers for emergencies. I know a guy."

Elisha smiled. "Well thanks AVI."

I rolled my eyes and Avi laughed. Just then Mitch walked into the room, his purple hair all in a tangle. He was sucking on a straw connected to his blood pack. The blood pack was decorated like a pack of tomato juice.

"Morning." He mumbled, scratching his hair. He tugged on his black T shirt as he walked into the kitchen. He kissed Elisha's cheek, his eyes half closed.

"Hey babe. Sleep well?" Elisha asked. She didn't seem to know about the midnight hunt last night. Mitch shrugged, lurking around the room like a color headed ghost.

He opened the frige and pulled something out. It was a small wrap of something gross looking.

"Pig guts again? Mitchie there're mortals in the house. Babe I know you're hungry but can't you like save it for dessert or something?"

Mitch sighed. "Alright alright I'll stick to liquid blood. Geeze."

He put everything back in and Elisha patted his hair. "Good girl." She said. I raised an eyebrow.

"Wow El. You're quite responsible." I muttered. Elisha rolled her eyes.

"I'm always responsible? I just don't show it because I don't want to die alone."

Mitch smiled. "Yeah, she's too 'pretty'."

Avi laughed and just then Alex appeared by the doorway. Mitch's smile vanished and he quickly ran into the laundry room with Elisha behind him.

"Hey you." Alex said, kissing my cheek. I blinked at the sudden gesture. I wanted to wipe my cheek but I also want to be friends with Alex again. I smiled.

"Hey."

Avi raised an eyebrow but said nothing. Alex took the seat next to me, all smiley and happy. "Oh this eggs are weird. Did Mitch make it?"

I shook my head. "No, Elisha did."

"Oh. Well then where are those two?"

I knew they were in the laundry room.
But for some reason I didn't want to tell him.

"I don't know. I think they went out to shop? They were going on and on about how they needed new drapes for the windows."

Alex mouthed, 'oh' and nodded, his lips with a faint smile. "C'mon Sco we'll be late."

"yeah but just a moment." I said, standing up. "I have to do something. I'll be right out."

Alex shrugged. "Okay."

He grabbed his bag and walked out the door.

I swished open the laundry room drapes and saw Elisha and Mitch lying on the floor, half dead.

"Guys what are you doing here" I asked.

Mitch sat up, still sucking on his pack of blood. "We just decided to lie on the ground for a while, that's all."

Elisha nodded, sitting up herself. "Yeah no actually you're right scotti We do need some new drapes. I'm gonna go out and ask a guy to buy them for me."

"And when she says 'ask', she means to enchant people in the club with her good looks." Mitch explained. I nodded, smiling.

"I thought so. Anyway, babe I'll be modeling if you need me-"

"Wait Scott." Mitch scrambled up and faced me. "I....I'm gonna be home alone today, you know with you and Alex working, and Elisha out clubbing..."

"Avi will be here."

"He works at a Korean barbecue place everyday. He needed the money and he loves meat and obviously he fell in love with Korean barbecue so he thought why not."

I thought. "Well you can come watch me model."

Mitch's face lid up. "I was going to say you text me every five minutes but your idea is better!" He said smiling.

"Then what are you doing undressed? C'mon, work yourself gurl"

Mitch laughed. "Aye aye captain." He said, running into his room.

I smiled.
Mitch was adorable.
But I saw something wasn't right between him and Alex.

I just didn't know what.
