Thranduil was dreaming again. Arieth was in his dream. She was watching him from the bedroom door.
He turned around and opened his eyes. Arieth was watching him from the bedroom door. "How do you do that?", he asked. "Do what?", she said and looked at him. He stared at her. It didn't seem like she knew what he meant. "Nevermind", Thranduil said and sat up. The blanket slipped down and revealed his naked chest. Arieth swallowed. Then she looked away as she felt her cheeks flushing. It was dark, so he couldn't possibly see what color her face was, but she did it anyway. "What is it?", Thranduil asked. "I... You...", she looked at him again. He hightened his left eyebrow. "Forgive me for not covering myself up, but it's a warm night". "Yes, yes it is", Arieth said. She felt her body getting warm too. "There's one thing I would like to know, though", Thranduil said and looked at her. "And what would that be?", she asked him. "How can you know so much about me, by just... Looking at me... At my armour...", he was curious. "Well, I... I got some powers... They are not very strong, but they are quite usable... I can sense things... Pick up things from a person's vibe... But I can only see parts from your past, and present ... I do not know the future. I can feel that you are very heavy at heart, that you carry a burden, not by choise... I can sense that you're a good and decent ellon, strong as a the foot of a mountain", she smiled at him. "How I managed to guess where you're from was because of your armour. I have read and studied our kind. And how do I know that you're popular? Well...", she blushed. "If I was an ellon, you'd be a perfect friend, and as a maiden...", her cheeks were burning. "Good night!", she said and went into the bedroom. Thranduil smirked. Arieth laid down on the bed again with a smile on her face. As a maiden she had alreday fallen for him, like a yellow leaf in the atumn.
