Thranduil was awaken by his horse lightly tapping it's hoof against his leg. "I'm up, I'm up!", Thranduil said and sent Malhtaug an irritated look. The horse kinda shook it's head like he didn't care about Thranduil's grumpy morning bahavior. "I was having such a lovely dream", he said to his horse. "And then you woke me up". He ran his fingers through his hair, got up and walked down to the river they had camped by. He splashed some water in his face to wake up and drank a couple of handfulls with water. "We got to try to reach Fangorn by tonight", he said to Malhtaug. "We just got to find a good place to cross this river. That will save us some time, so we don't have to go all the way around it".

They started to ride carefully alongside the river. It was kinda risky to travel so openly, he could be seen from the other side, by both friends and foes. He had to find a crossing point soon. He heard something or someone coming up behind him in a hurry. He turned and saw a couple of wargs with orc riders heading his way. Thranduil rolled his eyes. "Will this filth ever learn?" He decided to use a bow and arrows for this fight. Maybe he could take them out before they came too close. He shot one of the orcs, but there were still two wargs and a rider left. They were getting close now. Thranduil hit the warg without a rider right between the eyes. Now they were one on one.
