Friends show their love in times of trouble, not in happiness. - Euripides

''Hey there mister? How may I help you?" I say mischievously.

He is boring into my eyes, raking my soul. My mouth turns into an O shape just by looking at him. It seems to me that he is lost in his own wonderland while staring at me.

A sense of nostalgic washes over me as I raise my hand up to wave at him right on his face. His eyes twitch as he grabs my hand before I can go any further.

''I'm not deaf Irea,"he says deeply.

''Your action said otherwise though," I gesture to my locker, ''would you excuse me?"

He steps back, not far, but enough to give me some space to breathe when I get my things from my locker. I give him a reluctant smile as a sign of appreciation.

I grab my notes and books as quick as I can, not comfortable with some random stranger standing behind. I feel his eyes on my back, watching my actions. It's like he's a predator and I'm the prey here. I watch too much of National Geography, don't mind me.

I slam the door shut and twirl around to look at him.

I raise my eyebrow questioningly at him. It is apparent that he still doesn't get my message as he is still right behind me. I wonder what he is up to now. He is eyeing around, avoiding me, trying to look for something interesting that worth his attention. Well, this is awkward.

"Are you not leaving or something?" I point at the exit.

"You ready?"

He asks. My mind wanders to what he is talking about.

"Ready for what?"

My voice cracks into laughter when I look at him. A wave of disbelief washes over his electric blue eyes. Oh boy, now I am stuck with a lunatic.

"Have you checked your phone for the past three hours?"

He is standing, just a few meters away from me, making us look like two good friends who are friendly to each other, not two strangers who loathes each other to the end of the world.

"Unlike you, I come to school to study, not toying around with my phone."

I challenge.

"Have a look at your phone right now, if so."He demands.

He is so wrong if I am doing what he wishes me to do. To his surprise, I walk around him to leave him behind. Before I can get away, he clutch my arm, putting me in a halt.

I snarl at him due to the irritation I contain. "What now?"

"Now." He emphasizes.

"If that will make you get lost since you're sticking close to me like a germ, why don't I give it a shot right?"

I take my phone out from my sweater and run a quick check through my notifications.

I want to get our assignment done asap. See you at your locker after school.

My eyes enlarge every second as I read the message that they almost get out their sockets.

"Let me set this straight again. Are you stalking me?"

"As if."

"Freak, I have tons of stalkers and now you are adding yourself in the list." I state.
