"uh, guys," ariel said nervously, glancing behind himself. "we better hurry. i think we're being followed." the group ran to the door, with heavy footsteps following them. ariel used the key he had found in the office to open the main entrance door, and the group ran out of the school (if you could even call it that).

but there was a slight problem.

they hadn't gone through the main entrance like they had thought. they had gone out the back door, which lead to the courtyard. the problem? there was a giant hedge maze.

"great job, ariel. we've walked straight into a maze," lynn muttered. ariel narrowed his eyes at lynn.

"you're the one who lead us to the wrong door."

"you're the one who opened the goddamn door!"

"shut up!" ryan exclaimed. "all you guys do is argue and yell at each other!" ryan shook her head. "anyways, we're only in the beginning of the maze, the gate to get out is right-" ryan cut herself when she saw that the gate was gone and replaced by part of the maze. "oh."

"ry, just burn the maze down or something," alexa suggested. ryan shook her head.

"the walls are too narrow. we'd all end up burning to death."

"gabe! you control plants!" ariel exclaimed. gabe looked at him. "can't you like, make the walls go down or something?" gabe shook his head.

"no, but i could make a vine grow on the hedges and someone could climb up and find the exit." ariel nodded. gabe kneeled down and placed his palm on the hedge, and the others watched as a large vine twisted around the hedge wall.

"who's the best with direction here?" lynn asked, glancing at the others. ryan raised her hand.

"im pretty good at it." lynn nodded toward the vine. ryan walked to the maze wall and carefully climbed up the vine.

"brendon, if you're looking up my skirt, i will fucking fight you," ryan muttered. brendon rolled his eyes.

"im not that perverted," brendon argued. ryan laughed and cautiously stood up on the hedge wall. she looked around the maze for a moment before realizing something... there was no exit.

"uh, we have a small problem here." ryan bit her lip. "there's no exit."
