the group made it through the valley with few troubles, besides the fact that they couldn't fucking communicate. everyone had left their phones back at the school, because they're just that smart.
ash and ariel were having an unknown conversation on the whiteboard. something about their smirks and evil eyes said that they were up to no good, but no one seemed to notice or care.
after leaving the awful valley, gabe decided to scream. the group gave him a confused look.
"i just wanted to make sound again," gabe muttered. the group laughed; but the laughter didn't seem like laughter. everyone was too sad and too tired and too stressed and too angry to laugh properly.
