the group wandered around the building until they found the exit.
"aha! we made it!" ashley exclaimed. ryan tried with the door, but the handle wouldn't budge.
"uh, guys, it won't open," ryan pointed out. "that could be a problem."
"this door is way bigger, and i'd guess stronger than the other. i don't know if wind will work," lynn observed, sighing.
"we have to get out of here before one of those psycho teachers find us!" melanie exclaimed. gabe tried her luck with picking the lock with a thorn on a plant, but it wouldn't work.
"hey um, has anyone seen ariel?" alexa asked, glancing around the room. ariel was nowhere to be seen.
"maybe he went to get something?" jon said, shrugging.
"it's not like ariel to leave without warning like that," marina muttered. ryan gasped.
"i can control fire, so maybe i can burn the door down?" ryan suggested.
"good idea, but then we run the risk of burning the entire building down," brendon said in a matter-of-fact tone.
"we can risk burning the building down, but first we need to find ariel," marina said, running down the hallway to search for ariel.
"we can't let her go alone," spencer pointed out. "im going to help her." spencer ran off to find marina.
