ariel hesitantly entered the office. he was terrified of what could happen. breezy had acted strange after she had left, and it petrified ariel.

"so, w-what am i here for?" ariel asked nervously, glancing around the room. the man behind the desk cleared his throat.

"you're a unique one," the man muttered. "you have control over time." ariel quirked an eyebrow at the man.

"im sorry... what?"

"your special ability. you can stop time, go back in time, or forward in time," the man explained. ariel laughed nervously and shook his head.

"you're kidding."

"listen, ariel. if you don't believe me, try it for yourself," the man said, annoyance laced in his voice.

"how?" ariel questioned, suddenly feeling sick.

"concentrate." ariel shook his head and rolled his eyes. after a moment of hesitation, he closed his eyes tightly and thought hard. he didn't know how long he'd concentrated, but when he opened his eyes everything was frozen in place.

"what the hell?" ariel exclaimed, backing up from nothing. "this is a dream. it has to be." he poked at ms. ledger's frozen body. nothing happened. "oh god, how do i change it back?" ariel exclaimed. he concentrated on bringing time back, but nothing happened. he paved around the room nervously. "this can't be real."

ariel's panic grew after several attempts to bring everything back to normal. he felt like he was suffocating.

his panic grew out of hand and he fainted, leaving everything frozen in place.
