Chapter 7 - Daniel

For a week, Jairus never failed to pick me up early to go to school. With all infairness to Nash, he always wait me for lunch and drive me home. There must be something I missed why these two guys always competing with each other and I felt like I would be the prize.

It's Saturday and we're going to the training camp. Mom also got back from her long vacation. I'm also done with Jairus' tutorial class.

"Sharlene, you have done so well on your shooting class. You will now start with mix martial arts. Daniel would be your mentor. I hope you'll ace mix martial arts too.", Professor Brian instructed.

"I'll do my best, Professor. I won't let you down on this."

While I'm moving to mix martial arts class, Kath will be moving to archery. Works for me so I won't be compared to Kath. I went inside the mix martial room and saw Daniel.

"Hi Sharlene! Please make yourself comfortable.", Daniel greeted.

I could tell you that Daniel really looks good. Kath and Daniel really makes a perfect couple. We started with a few kicks and its really hurting my entire body.

I really admire Daniel for not giving me any special treatment. He beated me up couple of times but that was unintentional. I was supposed to either block it or evade it, but I failed.

"Sharlene, you have to clear your mind next time. Trust your reflexes. Make your body move on its own as if each part has its own mind. You did great today." , Daniel complimented.

We were about to end the class when Kath came. Kath and Daniel kissed intimately.

"Dan, did my sister gives you a headache?", Kath teased.

I felt embarassed that time. I really suck on making things right in mix martial.

"No. She did fine really.", Daniel laughed.

Daniel and Kath has been in a relationship for long. They're both good looking and they compliment each other. Their bodies are like magnets whenever they're together. When Kath moves, Daniel moves and vice versa.

We're now going home. Kath will drive because my body hurts like hell. I got bruises on my legs and arms.

Mom was waiting at the porch when we arrived. She prepared our dinner for tonight which Kath and I missed for a week when she went on vacation.

"Sharlene, how's Nash?", mom asked while we're having dinner.

"He's ok.", I simply answered.

"You know what mom? She have another suitor. His name is Jairus. He always pick Sharlene up in the morning to go to school." , Kath added.

"He's not my suitor mom. He's just returning a favor because I'm helping him on Science."

"Alright. Suit yourself." , mom sarcastically answered.

Kath and I will share the same room tonight.

"Hey Shar, who would you choose between the two? Nash or Jairus?" , Kath asked smiling.

"Jairus is not courting me but to satisfy your question, I don't know."

To be honest, somehow the question made an impact on me. Who would I choose just in case? Maybe I just need to sleep on it now.
