The Call

Chapter 8

I got changed into some basketball shorts and a tank top and walked out of the room to the living room. Luke changed in the bathroom while I changed in his room. I sat on the couch and started to watch "Step Up" one of my favorite movies since Channing Tatum was in and cause it was a dancing movie and I love to dance. I walked to the kitchen to go make popcorn since the movie went to those long ass commercials. I felt arms wrap around my waist and knew that it was Luke. "Are you making that popcorn for me?" he said. "No fatass it's for me" I said turning around to look at him. "And you're calling me the fatass" he said smiling down at me. "Shut up" I said. The microwave telling me that the popcorn was done. I bent down to grab a bowl. I poured the popcorn in the bowl, I looked back to see if the movie was back and noticed that Luke was staring at my butt. "Perv" I thought. "You like the view" I said while walking to the living room. "Actually yes" he said smiling at me. "You're such a perv" I said, watching the movie. "Hey, I have a right to look their, you are my girlfriend" he said, putting his arm around me. "Yea, yea" I said and continued to watch the movie. I woke the next morning on the couch with Luke next to me. We must have fallen asleep. I stood up and instantly got pain in my back and in my neck. I groaned and walked to my room to see if I had Advil. No luck. I tried to stretch my neck and my back but it only made it worst. I walked back to the living room and saw that Luke was up. "Babe, do you have Advil or something" I said holding my neck. "Yea, why, what's wrong?" he said while walking to the kitchen. "My neck and my back hurts" I said, rubbing my neck and my back. "Cause of the couch?" he asked.  I nodded yes and hissed in pain from moving it. Luke looked through the cabinets and  sighed. "What?" I said. "There's no more Advil" he said. I sighed and walked over to the couch. "I can go buy you some if you want" he said, walking over to me. "There's no stores open this early" I said looking at the clock which read 6:00 am. "Lets just go to my room and sleep some more and hopefully the pain will go away" Luke said. I nodded and got up. Luke picked me up and took me to his room. "You didn't have to carry me" I said looking up at him. "I know but you looked like you were in a lot of pain and I wanted you to feel comfortable" he said. "Thanks" I said. "You're welcome" he said. We got to his room and he put me down so that I can get up on his bed. I layed down and tried to fall asleep, But nothing work. I was just laying there with my eyes open. I looked over at Luke who was already sleeping. I didn't want to wake him so I got up and climbed over him. I guess he wasn't really sleeping because he pulled me down, on top of him. "Where are you going?" he said, opening his eyes. "I can't sleep" I said, laying down on his chest. "Does it really hurt that bad?" he said. "Yes, I have scoliosis and having that makes my neck and back hurt really bad" I said. Luke didn't say anything. He just rubbed little circles on my back. "Do you need a massage?" he said. "No, for some reason, when someone gives me massage, it hurts me?" I said . Luke looked at me weird. "I know, I am weird" I said, tracing his tattoos. "Hey, later on, can you go with me to go get a tattoo?" I said. "Why do you want a tattoo?" he said, looking at me weird. "Because tattoos are memories and I want a tattoo that represents Gilian and my mom" I said. "Oh, ok, but I have to warn you that getting a tattoo hurts a lot" Luke said. "I don't expect it to feel good" I said. Luke just rolled his eyes. "Can you do me another favor?" I said, looking up at him. "Yea", "Can you get me Advil when the store opens" I said. "Will you go with me?" Luke said. I nodded yes and he said ok. I closed my eyes and tried to sleep but nothing happened. I sigh in frustration and just lay their. Then, I heard Luke singing "U.N.I by Ed Sheeran" and I instantly got sleepy and eventually fell asleep. I woke up and noticed that I had less pain. I got up and walked to kitchen where everyone was having breakfast. "Good morning everyone" I said as I walked into the kitchen. "Good morning" everyone but Beau said. Beau just glared at me and I did the same to him. I sat down between Luke and Jai and started to eat. As I was eating, I felt like if someone was staring at me. I looked up and found out that it was Beau. "Why are you staring at me?" I said to him. He didn't say anything, he just went back to eating his food. I just rolled my eyes and went back to eating too. After I finished, I jumped in the shower and put the water on hot to relax my muscles. I washed my body and my hair and exited the shower. When I opened the curtains, I saw Beau standing their with a halloween mask on. "Why are you here if you know that I am taking shower" I said, covering myself with the curtains "Why aren't you scared?" he said with a confused face. "Because I saw you in the mirror  while I was taking a shower" I said. He rolled his eyes and left the bathroom. He forgot to close the door and I didn't have my towel near me. "What do I do"I thought. "LUKE" I yelled. "Yea?' he yelled back. "Can you come here" I said. "Where are you?" he said passing the bathroom? "You just passed me" I said. He walked back and saw me. "What?" he said. "Can you pass me my towel" I said. "Really, that's all you need" he said annoyed. "I would have gotten it by myself but Beau was in here trying to scare me and when he left, he left the door open and I didn't want to get out and someone pass by and see naked" I said. "Beau is stupid" Luke said and passed me my towel. I went to Luke's room and got changed into some denim shorts and a black and white shirt that says "Young and Reckless" (one of my favorite brands). I put my vans on and left to the kitchen. "Luke, do you want to go to the store now?" I asked. "Yea, lets go" he said and we left to the store. When we go to the store, I went straight to the medicine section, Luke followed. I got the Advil and went to the register. As we were waiting in line, I got a call that turned my whole world upside down.
