Chapter 15

Months passed by and we got everything settled into the house. Even Roselyn gets her own room. Today was a special day for Luke and I. It's our 5th anniversary and I can't wait to show Luke the gift I got him. I was making breakfast while Luke was sleeping so I can surprise him. I made him some eggs, bacon, and heart shaped pancakes. I finished making the food and walked upstairs to Our room. Luke was still sleeping so I put the food down and jumped on him. "HAPPY ANNIVERSARY BABE!!" I yelled. He laughed. "Happy anniversary to you too babe" I said. I gave him a kiss on the lips and brought him the breakfast. "Aw you made me breakfast" he said. "Yea" I said, smiling at him. "Thanks babe" he said. "You're welcome" I said. "So, what are we doing today?" I asked. "That's for me to know and for you to find out" he said, smiling. I sucked my teeth at him and rolled my eyes. "What time do you want me to be ready by?" I asked. "By 8" he said. I nodded and walked out the room. I had nothing to do to pass time so I decided to get my hair and nails done and buy a dress. When I came back to the house it was already 7 o'clock. "Damn I need to get ready" I said and ran up the stairs. I hoped in the shower and washed my body and hoped out. I put on my new blue dress with my black heels and did my make up. I looked at the time and saw that it was 7:39. "I got time to curl my hair" I said. I curled my hair and by the time I was finished it was already 8. I sprayed some perfume and walked out the room. I down the stairs, only to met by Luke. He turned around and his mouth drop. "Close your mouth or you will catch flies" i said, laughing at his expression. He closed his mouth and gave me a kiss. "Tonight is going to be special, I promise" he said. I nodded and we left the house. When I got outside, I saw a limo and the driver holding blue roses. "Aw Luke, you didn't have to do all this" I said, in shock of the limo and the flowers. "I didn't but I wanted too" he said, intertwining our fingers and leading me to the limo. We got in the limo and he wrapped a bandana around my eyes. "Luke, what are you doing?" I asked. "The place we are going to is a surprise" he said. I stayed there with the bandana around my eyes, anxious about where we are going. i felt the limo stop. "We're here" Luke said. He lead me out of the limo and into the streets. We walked for a few minuted the stopped. Luke took off the bandana and I gasped at the scenery. We were at the beach and there was a table set for two, right near the water. There were roses around the table, shaped like a heart and the light of the moon shined perfectly. "Thank you so much for this" I said, giving him a hug. "you're welcome" he said. We walked to the table and started to eat. After we finished eating we went for a walk near the water. "Ariel, I have to ask you something" he said, looking out to the sea. "Ok, go ahead" I said. "Well we have been dating for a while now and I just wanted to say that I think we are going to be together for a long time so" he stopped and pulled out a little box from his pocket and got down on one knee. I gasped. "Ariel Marilyn Rodriguez, will you marry me?" he said. No words came out. I shook my head yes and he put the ring on my finger and gave me a hug. I kissed him and he kissed back. "I love you, forever and always" he said. "Yea, forever and always" I said, smiling back at him. We went back to the limo and went home. That night was the most special night we had together.
