Revenge

Chapter 9

I hang up and gave the Advil to Luke and went to the car without a word. I sat in the car thinking about the call. Luke came back and handed me the Advil. He noticed that I was in shock and touched my leg to snap me out of my trance. I looked over at him and started to cry. "What's wrong" he said. I didn't say anything. I just sat there with my head in my hands. "Babe, tell me what's wrong" he said, rubbing my thigh. "The phone call" I said. "What about the phone call" he said. "It was about my dad, he escaped from jail" I said. Luke sat there shock. "What am I supposed to do, If he finds me, he is going to kill me" I said looking over at Luke. "Don't worry, me, Jai, Beau, James, and Daniel are moving to California since our videos on Youtube made us famous" he said. "So i'm never going to see you again" I said trying to hold the tears back. "No, you're coming with us" he said smiling at me. I smiled back and gave him a hug. "Wait, what about Gina?" I asked. "She has to stay here because everyone is here and she likes it here" he said,  getting upset. "Oh" I said. "Your dad isn't going to find you in California" he said. "Yea, hopefully he doesn't" I said, a little unsure. We drove home in silence. I started to think a lot about the phone call. I can't believe they let him get away. I knew something was going to go wrong. We got home and I went straight to the kitchen and drank the Advil. I went to the living room to watch t.v. I felt the other side of the couch go down and someone's hand wrap around my waist. "You are very cuddly today" I said turning to Luke. "When I am tired, I want to cuddle and you do the same thing" he said looking at me. I rolled my eyes and went back to watching t.v. Luke laid in my lap and watched t.v with me. I felt my pocket vibrate and looked at the screen. "Who is it?" Luke said looking up at me. "I don't know?" I said staring at the screen. I slide the green button and spoke. "Hello?" I said. "Hey sweetie, remember me?" the unknown person said. I instantly knew that voice and sat their shock. "What?" Luke said. "Put it on speaker" he said. I put the phone on speaker and spoke again. "How did you get this number" I said. "Well you're my daughter and I bought you the phone so I know the number by heart" he said, laughing after. "What do you want?" I said. "Revenge" he said. "Revenge? for what I didn't do anything to you?" I said. "Yes you did, you ruined my life and you sent me to jail, so now you're going to die bitch" was the last thing he said and hung up. I didn't say anything. I just got up and went to Luke's room, closed the door and started to cry. I heard a knock at the door and I already knew that it was Luke but I didn't open the door. I laid on the floor, just crying, thinking about everything. What if my dad finds me and kills me? What if he kidnaps me while I am walking somewhere? All of this made me want to die. If I die, there wouldn't be so many problems. I am always the one to cause problems. Everywhere I go, something happens. I should have never been created. I felt someone touch me, scaring the shit out of me. I looked up and saw Luke, Jai, James, and Daniel standing over me. "Leave me alone" I said, putting my face back into my hands. "No, we want to help you" Jai said. I didn't say anything. I just laid there. I felt Luke pick me up bridal style and take me to the living room. "Luke" I whined. He didn't say anything. He just ignored me and continued to walk to the living room. He sat down and sat me down on his lap. I hid my face in Luke's neck, not wanting the others to see me cry. "Ariel, we want to help you" James said. "But we can't if you don't let us" he added. "You guys can't" I said not moving from the position I was in. "Yes we can" Jai said. "Guys, you don't understand, if my dad finds me, he will kill me and if you guys get in the way, he will kill you too and I don't want that to happen" I said, looking at them. "We don't care, we will all die for you Ariel" Daniel said. Jai, Luke, and James agreed. I smiled at them. They are the best friends ever. "You guys are so sweet" I said. "But how are we going to avoid my dad" I said. "Didn't Luke tell you that we are going to California?" Daniel said. I nodded yes. "Well, you are coming with us, so your dad can't find you if you aren't here in Australia" Daniel added. "Yea, but what if he finds me before we leave to California" I said. "We're leaving in two days, do you think he can find you in two days?" Jai asked. I thought about it. I shook my head no. "Alright, as long as you're safe, makes us less stressed" Jai said. I hope my dad doesn't find me before we go to California because if he does, all hell will break loose and people are going to get hurt.
