This Is Forever

Chapter 7

"I'm gonna get you!"

"Try and keep up then!"

I yelled at Chris as he chased me down the beach. He fell asleep so, being the loving best friend and wife I am, I took a bucket of cold water and dumped it on him.

He started catching up to me so I did two front walkovers trying to get farther ahead.

He stopped and bent over with his hands on his knees panting.

I stopped and walked back to him, I haven't ran like that in so long, I feel great but my chest is heavy again, like that one time on tour.

"Seriously?" He panted and stood up straight, lifting his chin up and licking his lips, still trying to catch his breath.

I laughed and wrapped my arms around him. He wrapped his are around me, then slid his arms really low.

"Chris, what are you doing?"

He bent down and lifted me up, throwing me over his shoulder.

"Christian!" I yelled as he started running towards the water.

"Christian!" I shrieked again and he threw me in the water.

I resurfaced and Chris was laughing. I jumped up and tackled him into the shallow part.

He pulled me down and kissed me, "So now we're soaking wet.." He said when we pulled away. I winked, then stood up and walked back to where we put our things.

Chris wrapped his arms around me from behind and kissed my neck. I faced him and he gently pushed my hair behind my ear, "God I love you." He said and kissed be again.

I smiled and felt him smile against my lips. He pulled away and placed his forehead against mine, "We will continue this back at the room."

I laughed and we started to pack up.

We headed back to our hotel room which was a five minute walk from the beach.

My phone started ringing and I answered without checking the number, "Hello?"

"Hey beautiful."

I stopped and looked at the number, it's restricted... Nice...

"Who's this?"

"You know who it is, have fun in San Diego."

"How do you know where I am?"

"That's for me to know, and you to find out. See you when you get back."

He hung up the phone and turned to Christian.

"What-"

"We have to go home, like, now."
