1 month later
Luke's POV:
Luke, Emily and Michael all decided to go on a walk early that morning. They walked to the park and to the coffee shop. When they were heading home Emily fainted. "Emily?! Em wake up!" Luke panicked as Michael called 911. As soon as the ambulance reached the hospital Michael went in with Luke to go wait for the results.
2 hours later
"Hemmings?" A doctor called
"That's me. Is she gunna be okay?"
"For now but she has partial memory loss because of the fall she hit her head and her brain just shut down in that area. I'm sorry"
"Can we go see her?"
"Go ahead"
I motioned for Michael to go see her and when we got there, she was terrified. She didn't know who we were or how she got there.
We talked to the nurse and turns out she lost the last years memory. She didn't know who I was. My heart was broken.
"Is there any way to jog her memory?"
"Yes but it may be a while"
I cried quietly in Michael's shoulder until I ran out of tears.
