I woke up with a groan, my head was banging. I turned my head to the right to see the boy from last night gone with a little note in his space, 'thanks for last night, darling. I had fun'.

I rolled my eyes, they always manage to leave a note. I wasn't always like this, I once had a normal fun life with parents and a brother and sister. I guess I was just unfortunate to lose them all in one go. Anyways lets not get into family, I hate talking about it.

I stood up from the bed and wrapped myself in a towel, grabbing some clothes and walking over the bathroom.

It took me around half an hour to get ready and then as I finished putting my hair up I walked downstairs. I walked into the kitchen and grabbed an apple, walking in to my living room when I saw my best friend on the sofa with tissues around her and ice cream, she was also watching the notebook, crying her eyes out.

I sighed. "Another argument with George?" She sniffles and nods. "Come here." I said and pulled her in for a hug. I grabbed the blanket and pulled it around us. My best friend, Layla has a boyfriend, George. He's very possessive over her and it sometimes gets too much for her.

There was this one time where she spoke to a guy in a restaurant to order her food and he went crazy with her, because he could smell something on her. I don't really know much all I know is that when they're good they're amazing together, but when the argue they're really bad.

"Do you want to talk about it?" I asked her, she shook her head and sniffles more. It's not awkward with us two because we're 19 and we've known each other for 13 years, we can't get any closer then we are now.

"Come to my place to pick up some things please, I think I need to stay here for a while." I nodded and stood up, slipping my shoes on. "Come on then Layla, we'll get it done with and then we can come back here and do whatever you want." She nodded and walked over slipping her ugg boots back on.

"I saw the guy that left this morning," she grinned and bit her lip, "and I know I've got a ma- boyfriend but he was so gorgeous. How was he then?" I giggled and rolled my eyes. "He was good. Just like the others really."

We laughed as we walked to my car. We got in and drove to her house. When we got there we both got out of the car and walked up to her house, she walked straight to her bedroom whilst George shouted her and tried to follow her. "Hey, George. She needs some time alone just let her come to mine only for a few days for a bit of a breather."

He moved me across and tried to go up the stairs. I grabbed his arm and pulled him down, putting him on the floor and twisting his arm around his back. I sighed, "you should have just listened," I mumbled. He got up quickly and I saw his eyes change colour. I gasped shouting, "Layla!" She ran downstairs and her eyes widened when she saw George's eyes. She went over to him and pushed him back.

"Stop this! You can't stop me from going to my friends house for a few days! We're allowed space sometimes!"

"Your my mate! I can stop you." I looked at him with furrowed eyebrows and was about to speak when the door slammed open and someone had walked in.

"Louie! Tell him I need a few days away. I'll only be at livs." Her brother sighed and nodded. "Just let her have a few days bro, she'll be fine. Liv will take good care of her." I glared at George as he glared back. I heard a growl from him and looked at him with a shocked face. "What the f*ck?!" I shouted grabbing Layla's arm and dragged her out of that place, she shouldn't have got with him in the first place, he acts like an animal.

She gladly came with me and we got in the car and I drove off angrily. "How dare he shout at you like that! God. He's an animal!" She sighed. "He's not like that normally and you know that, he was just angry."

I scoffed, "and the way your brother didn't even say anything. God I would have gone crazy if that was my sister!" She looked over at me with sympathy when I mentioned my sister. I clenched my jaw, I hate when people sympathise for me, it just brings back memories.

I pulled up to the house and went up the stairs taking off my jacket and top in the process. I shut my door and got changed, grabbing a short tight white dress that showed off my curves. I got my hair ready and then put a little bit of make up on.

I grabbed my keys and saw Layla on her phone on the sofa. I didn't even speak to her. I was pissed, first she lets her boyfriend treat her like that and then she gives me sympathy although she knows how much it pisses me off.

I drove to the nearest club and the bodyguard let me in straight away, smiling at me knowing who I am. I see Tommy, someone that I know from when I started coming here, and give him a hug over the counter. "The usual?" Tommy asked. I grinned and nodded.

"The usual." I agreed. He chuckled and rolled his eyes getting me the drink ready. "How long have you been coming here now. 2 years? 3? Your going to be running out of guys to take home soon." I laughed at him and smiled. "Then I'll go over them again. You know how much I love the distraction." I took back two shots and twirled around in my chair. "So who should I go for tonight."

"Your lucky I'm gay babes and although it's none of my business that guy in the VIP area is looking at you." I looked up at him and our eyes locked. For a few seconds it felt like no one else was there but us. I smirked at him and looked him up and down, with an approving grin, showing him that I'd like a piece of him.

"If your lucky you might get a date out of it." I scoffed and turned back around to him rolling my eyes, "You know I don't do dates, or relationships." He laughed and rolled his eyes and then looked behind me then cleared his throat walking away.

I felt someone move my hair to my back and kiss my shoulder. "So, what is someone as beautiful as you doing here?" I smirked and turned my head. "I could ask the same thing about you." I gasped when he touched my arms, running his fingers down my arms. I felt butterflies in my stomach and goosebumps come over my arm, but the weird thing was, that I wasn't cold.
