Chapter eighteen

"And here I thought I got you wrapped around my little finger" he smiled and shook his head.

"If you knew me well enough then you should've known that I would catch you one time or another." I snapped.

"I knew you would but I didn't want you to find out this early when I haven't carried out my plan yet." he shrugged.

"What is this plan you're talking about" I narrowed my eyes at him.

"Just a little food poisoning" he chuckled.

"What do you mean" I growled.

"Didn't your father tell you about the party that's gonna be held by your mother again?" he raised his eyebrow at me.

"No. She's always having parties. What's so special about this one."

"That's where the food poisoning comes in."

I thought for a while before everything started making sense to me. Jacob would be going to that party since he was my dad's business partner so he would get poisoned as well. And so would everyone else that ate at the party.

"You insane pig" I sneered and lunged at him.

He grabbed my hand before it punched his face so I kicked his knee and threw him down before kicking him in his balls with my heel.

He yelled out in pain, holding his injured jewels.

"You should also know that I'm not a girl to mess with" I smirked and picked up the gun into my hand before shooting him in the middle of his forehead.

"Fucking asshole" I muttered and walked out of the kitchen.

The bullets of the gun kept decreasing as I shot anyone that got in my way.

Though one thing kept bothering me.

Where was Bryce?

I reached the main door and walked out to the garage. I fished out the pin code from my memories and typed it in.

The large doors lifted open with a loud creek, making me wince at the amount of noise.

I walked in to the black Ferrari and got in, turning on the ignition. It roared up to life and I pulled out of the garage, driving down the drive-way.

In about 20 minutes, I reached Jacobs house.

"Hey sweetheart" Jacob greeted a me once I walked into the living room.

I threw the gun on the couch and hugged him.

"Hey Jac" I greeted back.

"I thought you would come tomorrow?" he frowned, hugging me back.

"I couldn't stay there any longer. Too much for me to tolerate" I clarified.

"Where's Bryce." he asked.

"I couldn't find him anywhere when I got out of there, I'm sure he's fine" I replied, suddenly remebering that I didn't get Bryce along.

Guilt filled me and I mentally cursed myself for not paying attention to his whereabouts.

I pulled out the small black remote from the back of my jeans and pressed down on the red button.

Hope you made it out of there in time Bryce.

"You blew up the house?" Jacob raised his eyebrows at me in amusement.

"No I didn't, I just activated the bugs that I set in every guys uniforms so whatever they say, hear and see will be recorded and seen in the computers that you have in your storeroom" I answered.
