"Can I please take a picture of you?" Mike smiled widely, Carrie standing in front of him, holding a beer.
"Mike. No." She blushed, biting her lip before walking away from him, Mike unable to control himself from staring at her swaying hips.
"Mike." Ivey scolded him, narrowing her eyes at the handsome brunette.
"I'm sorry; I can't help it." Mike shrugged his shoulders, standing up following his girlfriend.
"Can I ask you something?" Carrie looked up at Mike seriously, the second he walked over to her.
"Course, is something wrong?"
"I just..." Carrie paused, pressing her lips together. "Are you a virgin?" She seemed to blurt out, immediately embarrassing herself.
"No, I'm not a virgin." He answered honestly; although, that wasn't the answer she expected or wanted.
"Why... did you um...", she sighed unsure of how to say what she wanted to say. "Was it with someone you loved?" She finally choked out.
"No. I don't even remember her name; we were so drunk." Mike answered, the blond biting her lip harshly. She didn't want to be mad at him;she also didn't want to judge him for something he did in his past. "I know you're disappointed, but I don't want to lie to you." Mike added, placing both hands on the sides of her shoulders.
"I understand." Carrie nodded, licking her lips. "But, how many times?" She asked, looking back up into his eyes.
"Just once. I was sixteen; I haven't gotten drunk since." Mike replied, holding one of her hands. "I wish I hadn't. I wish my first time would be with you." Mike confessed, causing her eyebrows to raise. "Are you, a virgin?" He questioned, causing Carrie to nod immediately.
"Yes, I am. Very much so, actually." A small laugh escaped her lips. "I have only ever kissed a man, that's why with you, when you kiss me sometimes I just..." Carrie paused, biting her lip gently. "It surprises me, not in a bad way." She smiled softly, looking back up into his eyes.
Mike couldn't help but let out a small laugh, Carrie softly smiling. "You're the cutest." He placed both hands on her face before kissing her lips softly.
In this moment, she couldn't be happier.
