"She's sensitive. She's quiet and shy sometimes and other times she is extremely excited and joyful." Mike couldn't help but smile as he talked about his girlfriend to his parents. "Carrie is such a beautiful woman, inside and out. She's a Christian, very faithful. I love that woman. So mom, I am sorry if you don't approve but my love for Carrie isn't changing." Mike looked over at his mother, who was eating her food.

"Well, she can't be that much of a Christian. I'm sure you two have had sex."

"Listen, if you don't like her, don't come down here. Moma, you know I love you but I love Carrie too. It isn't fair to her that you're just bashing her." Mike stood from the table angrily. "Whether we've had sex or not is none of your business." He added, Karen shocked.

"I'm sorry, I just want the perfect woman for you. I shouldn't have acted the way I did. If you want, we can all go do something tomorrow." Karen suggested, Mike sitting back down.

"No, I think I'm going to give her a break. She wants everyone to love her; therefore, if someone doesn't like her and it's very noticeable, she's upset." Mike replied, causing Karen to sigh. "If you don't mind, I think I'm going to go see her." He nodded.

"Look, I'm sorry." Karen apologized, causing him to hug her tightly.

"It's okay." He replied, kissing his mother's forehead. "Make yourself at home; I'll be back soon." Mike said, before walking out of his house. He felt so bad for Carrie. When she left, he could tell she was upset, but normally there's more hurt than what she allows people to see.

Mike immediately slowed down, once he saw the cop cars and ambulances blocking the way. Mike sighed, looking around, trying to figure out what'd happened.

"Shit," he mumbled, getting out of his truck quickly, noticing that there was a car flipped on it's side; it was Carrie's.

"Sir, you can't be over-", Mike immediately cut him off once they rushed Carrie on a stretcher, into one of the ambulances.

"That's my girlfriend!" He shouted, pushing past the officer. "Can I ride with her? That's my girlfriend, Carrie." Mike asked, hysterical. From what he could see, she wasn't moving, she wasn't responding to the nurses.
