I finally got this done, and I'm rounding this story up soon. But enjoy! :)

Chapter 23
His hands trailed from my shoulder and all the way down to my thigh, bringing my leg up to wrap around his waist. His lips were hot on the skin of my neck, trailing up my jaw with feather-like kisses. They finally rested on a spot right underneath my ear and a tiny gasp escaped my mouth. I felt him smirk, and his hands tightened on my waist. My nails grazed the bare skin of his back as I unconsciously pressed my half nude body closer to his.
I brought my fingers up through his dark hair as I closed my eyes in content, his lips working at the soft spot. Suddenly, he flipped me over so I was on top. I smirked at my best friend, happy that he let me take control. I leaned down to his neck, kissing and sucking at the certain spots that I knew he went crazy over. I let my hands travel through his dirty blond hair—
Wait, blond?
I pulled my face back and no longer saw Noah, but rather Sam. That’s when I got really confused.
“Sam?” I whispered, my hair falling down one side of my shoulder. “What’s going on?”
He laughed, letting a huge smile that I haven’t seen fall onto his face. “Come on, Melody. It’s pretty obvious what we’re doing.”
My crinkled my eyebrows together. “What the fu—“
I woke up.
The interior of my room was a pleasant welcoming out of that dream. What even was that? My eyes widened. Holy shit, does that count as a wet dream? Is this what guys had to experience all the time? If is, then thank goodness I’m a girl because that was messed up on multiple levels.
I sat up, stretching my limbs out. I turned my body and rested my feet on the cold ground, letting out a sigh as I reached for my phone. I hoped to see a message, at least one message from him. When I looked at the screen, his name wasn’t there of course.
It’s been weeks since I’ve seen or even had contact with Noah.
Don’t get me wrong, I call all the time. I’ve gone to his house to find no one there, and the hospital has informed me that Holly had to switch places due to her doctor relocating. She wasn’t able to tell me where due to patient loyalty, but she did say it was nearby.
I knew that Noah was somehow getting his homework because his teachers have asked me if he’s understanding it all. I would nod, and make up some lie to protect Noah. I have even cornered Brenden and asked him if he knew anything. He just held up his hands and assured me a million times that he was getting the same treatment as I was.
I missed him. I missed his smile, his presence, everything. I was starting to feel and act like one of those clingy girlfriends when we were anything but. If there were to be a title of ‘us’ we would definitely be victims of a one night stand, basically.
Getting ready for school was always a hassle now. In the past few weeks I have managed to get all my grades up to A’s again. With the whole bet business, I had really let my grades slip and that was not me. Soon college letters would be coming in, and school would draw to a close while graduation made us all be swept out into the real world. I don’t know whether I’m more relieved or scared for that moment to happen.
