"What do you want?" Adam shouted over the music. I gazed at the drink menu and shouted back whatever alcohol seemed good, and he bought it for me. I broke my attention from him as the bartender fixed the fancy drink, looking around the club.
Grinding. So much grinding.
"Here you are," Adam said, handing me the drink. I took a light sip and glanced at him, unsure.
"Hey, uh.." I rubbed the back of my neck. "I'm not so good with places like this. Last time I was at a party.." I hid a shy grin. "Let's just say some regrettable moments happened."
"Don't worry about it," he said, slinging his arm around my waist. "Nothing's gonna happen to you."
"Sure," I said below my breath. I took a gulp of the drink, and noticing how good it tasted, downed the whole thing. I gave the bartender the glass and looked around. "I think I'm just gonna stick here."
"That's fine," he smiled at me, but it seemed a bit off. I blinked, and suddenly, everything merged into two.
"Whoa," I murmured, suddenly feeling exhausted. Panic overwhelmed me, but the sleepy feeling took over. "Th..The drink.."
"Shh.." He rubbed my shoulders. "Just go to sleep, Levi. Nothing's gonna happen..."
"Adam.. n-no..." My eyes began to close. No.. don't go to sleep...
"I'll protect you, I promise."

"Men like you.. they make me sick."
I looked at the figure before me. Mom. I tried to scream to her, tell her not to hurt that man, but my voice would not come. The police are coming, she has to run. She has to run before the police find out she killed those other men.
"P-Please.. d-don't kill me.." The man whimpered, his body stained with blood. My mother glared at him with stone-colored eyes.
"Looks like the woman isn't such a bitch anymore, is she?" My mother held the gun higher and pressed it against his forehead. "Burn in hell."
I tried to scream. It won't work. She pulls the trigger, I shut my eyes.

My eyes struggled to open. My mouth, lolled to the side, tasted gross. Not only that, but my whole body felt gross. I groan and lift my head, which was positioned downward. My neck was cramped. I tried to look and see where I was, but it was so dark..
"Aahh.." I croaked. My mouth was so dry, I could barely speak. I heard a breath hitch in the room, and I tensed. I tried to lift my body up, but something held my legs and wrists tied to the chair I was on. "Wh..Who..?"
"L-Levi?!" A voice cried, breaking down into coughs. "L-Lev, it's me, Eugene. Where are you?"
"Eugene," I sighed in relief. "I-I don't know where I am! It's too dark.. Are.. are you tied up, too?"
"Shackles, I think," his voice was deep, like he had just awoken. "Handcuffs attached to the wall. I can't move. You're tied up?"
"To a chair, yes," I sniffled. My eyes teared up. "Where are we, Eugene? I want to go home.."
"I know, Levi, I know.." His voice softened. I could hear the fear in it, too. "Just stay calm, okay? We'll get out of here. I'm not leaving without you."
"Oh, you're not leaving at all."
A male's voice spoke, and suddenly, the room was bright with white lights. I closed my eyes at the brightness, but opened them a moment after. It took a second to regain my vision. I was in a concrete room that smelled damp and metallic. I was tied to a chair leaned against one of the stone walls. Across from me, Eugene was attached to handcuffs that connected to the wall. His body hung limp, and he looked sick. I whimpered and struggled to help him, but the ties wouldn't let me.
"Sorry, Lev, but you're not leaving, either."
I paled at the voice. My eyes were wide and terrified, and so were Eugene's. I slowly turned my head and met the pretty hazel eyes of a man whose face I didn't want to see.
Adam.
"Adam..?" I whispered. "Wh-What did you--?"
"Listen, I know this looks bad." He smiled apologetically. It seemed so genuine, too, I almost believed it. "I didn't want her to go to such lengths, you know, but there's no helping it. She does what she wants."
"She..?" Eugene croaked. "Oh my g-god, no.." The door opened, and in stepped the pretty toothy smile of Alyssa. "Alyssa.."
"Hi, Eugene!" She chirped too happily. She turned to me and her smile twitched. "Levina."
"Alyssa, what's going on?" Eugene demanded with random courage. "Let us out of here right now!"
"I can't do that, obviously," Alyssa chortled. "You would run away and tell the cops, and then I would go to prison. I don't think that'd be fun. I mean, Levi would know, wouldn't she? Her mom killed four men with families and died in prison."
"SHUT UP!" I wailed, throwing my body against the rope. "I hate you! I hope you rot to death, you---"
"I don't really care, frankly," she purred, admiring her nails. "You really need to stop struggling. Nobody likes rope burn." I glared a hole into her eyes.
"Alyssa, Adam, what the hell is going on?" Eugene growled. "Where are we? Why are you doing this?"
"Questions, questions," Alyssa smiled patiently. "All will be answered. Brother, why don't you explain what's happening?"
"Brother?" I repeated. Adam turned to me with a sad look.
"Sure, sis," the boy leaned against the wall and closed his eyes. "We can't tell you where you are, but you're both safe. As much as I want to strangle Eugene right now, Alyssa won't allow it, and I won't allow Alyssa to hurt Lev."
"Why?" I questioned angrily. "Why would you do this to us? To me, Adam?! I trusted you! I went to that stupid club for you because I liked you!" Adam smiled brightly and his cheeks tinted pink.
"I did it because I love you, Levi."
What, what the fuck?
Can I be any more of a bad author?
yeah??
I'm sorry it's so bad I just don't know what I'm doinggg ;;
