Reunited and Stronger

Chapter 7 ~Airport~

It took me a while to get out of the plane with my three carry on bags with me. I was also wearing heels so bad planning on my part. Despite the uncomfortable position I was in I was still super excited to reunite with my friends again. I don't know what Macy is planning but I can't wait to see her. When I finally got out of the plane and to the area where people were waiting for the arrivals my breathing stopped. Stood in front of me was someone who I definitely didn't prepare myself for. His Brown spiky hair which is usually soft when you touch it and the matured yet recognizable face he has as he looks absentmindedly on his phone. God did he love his phone I thought amusedly.

It was him, Adam. He was in front of me. Blue was in front of me.

I dropped my bags and looked at him with tears probably developing in my eyes. He notices the sound of my bags and slowly looks up, meeting my gaze. We both stood there silently, not caring who we're blocking or the stares we were receiving. We were too busy taking each other in.

It's been too long..

Before I could think anything else he quickly rushes over to where I was and embraces me. I stood still from his sudden actions for a second but quickly returned it. For 6 years, I haven't seen this person for 6 years. We've skyped, face timed, and texted each other but none of it could really fill the void I had. Before I knew it I started crying onto his shoulder. I bet people were really staring at us this time. I stepped away and wiped the tears from my eyes so I can take a better look at him. He grew taller I thought. Before we were about equal in height but I guess things really do change if you've been gone for as long as I have.

"Hey" he says with a bright smile.

Oh god, his voice. Skype did not do it justice.

"Hey" I said in a whisper, returning his smile with an equally brighter one.

"So uh, care to explain this over coffee?" He says as he motions over to the door. I fidget a little. What happened to Macy? Was this what she meant when she said she had a plan? I inwardly groan, of course it is. My questions were answered when my phone vibrated from a text from her. I motioned Blue to come closer so we can both read what she sent.

Macy- SURPRISE! Now go have fun and catch up you two. I've already told the others and we're totally cool with Adam hogging you for the day. Just be sure to make it up to us tomorrow kay? Kay! TTYL LOVE U ❤️❤️❤️ #myshipissailing #goambergo

We both sighed and gave each other a sympathetic look "I'll get my luggage and then we could head out and go somewhere"

Adam shrugged, "sure, anyplace you want to go?"

I brightened up when I thought of an idea, "Can we go see your brothers? I've only ever seen them in pictures or through the computer when we Skype. Plus I wanna see how good your cooking skills has gotten" I said as I nudged his arm.

He chuckles "I've gotten pretty good but my baking level is still inferior to yours"

I scoffed "of course, after Danny I'm the star baker in this group"

~ 15 minutes into the car ride ~

"No way! I can't believe you." I said once again wiping tears from my eyes. For the past couple of minutes me and Blue have been telling each other stories of what's been going on since our last skype call. Which probably isn't saying much since we do it so often but to us every second counts. Right now he's telling me of how he read The Fault in our Stars in 6 hours believing he wouldn't cry. What a goob.

"What? That I thought I could take the challenge? At least I tried. Heh, someone even thought I was doing drugs by how red my eyes were" he says shaking his head.

I started bursting out laughing "oh no, you are not helping your already flawed reputation"

He shrugged, "So? Don't care what she thinks. Would you think I did something?"

I shook my head, "nope, probably thought it was some prank Josh did or something" I started laughing again "but not that, anything but that"

He sighed and stopped the car "we're here"

It took some time to let everything in. Barely anyone was here since its still summer, but man was this place big. I wouldn't have even thought this was a campus for students.

"So this is my new school huh?" I said in awe.

He nodded, "yep, I'd say welcome to your new home but it's not like you'll be living in the dorms right? All the rooms are already occupied."

I nodded my head as he started leading me to his room, "yep, my parents got me an apartment near here but I can always check it out later."

He nodded and stopped in front of a room that I assume is his. He was about to open the door until we heard hurried steps behind the door. It bursted open to reveal two boys. They resembled Blue so much that there was no question they are siblings. I chuckled when they lunged over to Blue giving him a hug.

"Aw, so this is them? " I said in amazement. They were so cute! Like mini Blues. I guess they didn't notice I was there until I said something cause when they looked my direction they were shocked. Turning shy they went behind Adams legs as a short of shield.

I pouted "they don't like me."

Blue chuckles and pats their heads. "They don't like new faces." He says as he leads the way into his room

I crossed my arms "I'm not a new face though. They've seen my face before. Every time we skype before their bedtime as a matter of fact."

The twins continue to huddle together by Blue as he rummaged through the kitchen "yeah, but you look different. They've only ever seen you with your glasses, sweatshirt, and bun look."

I looked at him shocked. "Just cause I dressed differently doesn't mean they wouldn't be able to recognize me."

Adam only sighs. "It's not that R, it's just that right now you look" He pauses and scratches his head "We're out of milk"

I looked out him confused. Nothing we were talking about even related to dairy products. I shrugged it off and thought of a solution. I bent down towards the boys and quickly put my hair into a messy bun, "There, do you rugrats remember me now?"

As if they had some sort of revelation their eyes lit up in astonishment. I guess they remember now. They slowly looked at each and gave each other a nod. The two slowly separated from Adam and held out their hand for a hand shake. I happily did so.

"Kenneth" I said pointing to the twin with slightly curly hair "and Ben" I said pointing to the other one who had darker but straighter hair than his brother.

They happily nodded. This time it was my turn getting lunged at. I almost fell on my back if it wasn't for Blue catching me. "Okay okay, this is touching and all but why don't you guys get acquainted while I make some snacks for us"

"Yes sir" me and the twins yelled. Blue chuckles as he retreated into the kitchen.

Once he was gone I looked over at the twins in excitement. "So, who wants to watch Pokemon? Season 1 of course."

"Me!" They both say in sync

I laughed. This was going to be the start of a long Pokemon marathon.
