It took about an hour but orientation was finally over. When the principle dismissed us I hurriedly went outside to get my schedule. My classes consisted of some easy classes and an AP and Honors class. Scanning through my schedule my phone lit up. It was from the group message Macy made for us.

Macy- Hey! What classes do you guys have?! Let's compare

Josh- lol, love the name

Macy- thanks😎

Danny- I don't get it

Devan- me either

Josh- omfg you guys are idiots😂

B- ........

Me- I love you guys but really😂

Macy- Danny, Devan.... Look at your wrists.....😑

Danny- OOOHHHH

Devan- OOOOHHHH

Macy- sshhuuushhh you morons. Now cmon, everyone take a pick of your schedules and send them so we can compare

I sighed, taking a picture of my schedule sending it to the group message. One by one I started receiving everyone else's after. I was pretty pleased with the results. I didn't have to worry being alone in my honor and AP classes. My friends aren't stupid, they actually work hard for their grades and earn them. Well, I don't know about the twins though, they cram last minute and always end up with some sort of high grade, especially Danny. Anyway, I basically had all my classes with everyone except for ASB.

1- ART with the twins and Macy

2- Creative Writing with Josh and Adam

Break

3- AP Calculus with Adam

4- Chemistry (H) with Adam

5- ASB

Lunch

6- Cooking with the twins

7- Study Hall with everyone

Macy- YAS, a bunch of our classes match!

B- R has ASB by herself...

Me- don't worry about me dad lol. Anyway I'm surprised you didn't sign up for it Macy. You usually go crazy over stuff like this

Macy- yeah..... Guess I wasn't interested.

I debated whether to ask Macy if something was wrong but I decided against it. I turned off my phone and put it in my pocket. I know Macy, she'll tell me eventually. If not, I'll just pry it off of her.

It's been a couple of hours now and I've already gone to more than half of my periods. It was now fifth period and I was walking to the ASB room. It's my first class without any of my friends so I hesitated to open the door. When I did the first thing that caught my eye was an empty table by the window. I hurriedly went over to it and claimed my place. In an attempt to not look awkward and alone I took out my phone and decided to look through ifunny. I started chuckling when I saw a funny post but quickly stopped when I saw a nicely manicured nail touch the table.

"Mind if me and my friend sit here?" A very feminine voice asked my. I look up to see a girl with nice long brown hair and matching eyes looking at me as she places her hand on the seat in front of mine. I lightly nod my head and return to my phone until the girl started talking again.

"Thanks, he's not here yet but the douche wanted me to save him a seat. Men right?"

"Um, yeah." I say awkwardly smiling

"Are you a junior? I haven't seen you before." She says as she leans closer to me

"Senior, I just moved this year" I say as I turn off my phone and set it down. Obviously she was going to keep talking so might as well give her my full attention.

"Oh sweet! My names Holly. Nice to meet you." She then extends her hand across the table and shakes mine, "Amber, nice to meet you to."

"Amber, that sounds familiar." She says with a questioning look. "Meh, who cares, let's get along from now on."

I smile at her but then quickly turn to a mental scowl as Jake sits down on the seat next to her.

"Thanks Holly" he says as he sets his backpack down, "aye, what's the freshman doing here?"

I was about to retort back but Holly beats me to it, "Jesus Christ she isn't a freshman Jake. She a senior, like us. She just moved here"

Jake looks at me with a bored expression and takes out a piece a gum and pops it in his mouth, "oh seriously? My bad, since you didn't know about that group from this morning I thought you were a freshman. Names Jake by the way." All of a sudden his disinterested look is gone and is leaning forward on the table just like holly. He gives me a smile I assume he uses when he wants girls to fawn over him. Nope, not falling for that.

"Amber" I say with no care.

Jake makes a look of confusion when I brushed off his "award winning smile" and was about to say something until Holly cuts him off, "You're going to love this school. Minus Jake, everyone here is pretty cool."

"Almost everybody," Jake mutters

I went back to my phone until the teacher entered the class. We were discussing what to do for the first rally which was also on the same week as the basketball game. Apparently the team here is really good, and that's without Adam, Josh, and the twins. Yup, my boys were Gods on the court. I don't really know why they dont play here at school but I don't really care. It was a fun sport they played and they didn't care about winning or losing. They've even said people who only care about winning and not the actual game are corrupted and don't even deserve to wear the uniform.

Further along in the class I learned a couple of new things. Apparently Holly is the head cheerleader and takes great participation in school events. No shocker there, she's a really over peppy girl. I dont have anything against that though, just she does it to the point where youd just want her to stop. She even asked me whether or not I wanted to join the team but I said I'll think about it. Jake was the captain for the basketball ball team but you can already tell that from his oversized varsity jacket. I'd probably think he's an okay person if he didn't bad mouthed my friends but oh whale.

"I want lunch," I say mentally growing
