"Danny, that poster is crooked. Adam, be careful with those lights. Josh stop hiding behind the couch and help Adam. And Devon"

"Yes babe?" Devon says sounding a little scared

"Get me and Red some ice cream please, it's a little hot"

So basically this is what our afternoon has been like. Me and Macy, mostly Macy, bossing the guys around while getting my apartment all set up. When we met up a while ago we were all huddled up in hug for like 10 minutes and started talking about random things like what they've been doing and what I've got planned for my first year of high school.

Devon hurriedly brought us our ice cream and Macy gave him a kiss on the cheek, "thanks babe, now go set up the T.V."

"But-" oh no

"Please" she says pouting. There it is. He can't say no now. I'm surprised at how far Macy has gone. Before she used to be this shy, innocent girl and now she's developed into this confident, and maybe a little evil, woman. In all honesty, I'm proud of my friend who's gotten the confidence she needed and the boy of her dreams.

"Okay fine" Devon says in defeat. Man is he whipped.

"So let me get this straight." Macy says as she eats the ice cream her slave brought us "you want us to act like we're complete strangers for the first week of school so you can make your big entrance on the second week?"

I nodded. I told them I had a plan when school starts. I literally haven't had real human contact with people my own age in so long so I've got make my high school debut big. I mean, I'm going to be a senior for crying out loud. To do this, I need to get to know the people and get information. I need to know what's been going on and the cliques of the school. Sure I can use my friends to help me out but this is something I need to do for myself. For the first week, I'm gonna have to separate myself from them and be low key for a while. I can't attract too much attention just yet. When the second week comes I'm gonna enter the campus in such a big and dramatic way you'd think it'd be a scene from mean girls when Lindsey Lohan got that make over, but y'know, minus the mean girls.

"Yup. Look, I know this sounds weird but I want to feel like how you felt freshman year after your big transformation into high school"

Macy sighs, "okay, it's going to be hard ignoring you but I understand"

I give her a thankful smile. I may have left something out when I explained why I'm even doing this. The real reason is because I know my friends are well known in the school. They may be gorgeous but they also have this distant vibe they give off that makes people attracted to them. I want people to know I belong to be with them. That we're family and won't be torn apart.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when we heard a loud crash and looked over to the kitchen

"I'm gonna need a bandaid" Danny yells

"So will we" the other three later say

Me and Macy looked at each and let out a sigh "I'll get the first aid kit" she says

"I'll go see the damage"

I walked into the kitchen to see a shattered glass bowl on the floor. I groaned, "gee guys, thanks"

They looked at each other sheepishly, "sorry Red" Danny says apologetically

"Don't worry about it."

"Jesus Christ" Macy says in surprise. Shes holding a first aid kit and sets it down on the counter.
"Okay who's first"

"Me" Devon says sitting himself down on a chair

I went back to the living room and started looking around to see what still needs to be unpacked.

"So tell me" Adam says behind me. I jumped a little. "Oh gosh, you surprised me"

He chuckles, "sorry, I just wanted to ask why your making this whole high school debut thing such a big deal"

"Because it's my first-"

"And don't tell me the whole it's my first year in school and want to make it big thing excuse. I know you better than that"

I sighed in defeat. I really can't hide anything from him. "Fine, I'm doing it because when I start hanging out with you guys I don't want people doubting our friendship. I want people to know I belong in our group and no one can say otherwise."

Great, when I say it out loud it sounds stupid, "it's stupid, I know"

He scratches his head, "You know you don't have to do this"

"Do I have to, no. Will I, yes" before he can say anything I take off my infinity bracelet and hand it to him "here, Im going to need you to hold it for me for now. You all wear it right? People will automatically find it suspicious if I wear one thats basically identical to yours. I'm serious about this Blue"

He looks at me sadly and gives me a hug, "it's going to be the longest first week of school"
