I slightly rub my eyes and snuggled my head on whatever it was on. Weird, I thought. I'm comfortable, but something feels off. It took me a while to adjust my eyes to my surroundings. Normally I'd be freaking out and hyperventilating seeing as I'm in an unfamiliar room, but for some reason I'm not.
I look to my side to see Adam sleeping next to me on a couch. We had a blanket over us and his arm spread out. I guess I used his arm as a pillow.
Recap to last night
"Yes! Ash got his 5th gym badge!" I screamed. In front of me the twins were standing up and jumping happily.
Adam scoffed, "You already know he was going to get it"
"You're just mad I know more Pokemon facts than you" I say with a smirk
"You do not!"
"I do to!"
"Hold on!" The twins say loudly, causing me and Adam to look at them both. "We know more about Pokemon than you two combined"
Me and Adam looked at them in shocked. Two little boys are actually challenging us to a Pokemon show off. We looked at each other and nodded our heads in agreement "bring it rugrats"
Present
I inwardly groaned, "I can't believe we actually lost"
"Same"
I looked back at Adam who finally woke up, "I think I've let our generation down" I chuckled and got up. "I'm gonna use your bathroom"
"sure, door on your left. I'll make breakfast"
I gave him a nod and grabbed my purse and a change of clothes. I locked the door and gasped when I looked in the mirror. "I look like a mess" I groaned. "Those advertisements where the girl wakes up all beautiful is such bull." halfway through brushing my teeth I looked at my phone. I got a missed call from Macy. I'm usually the type to always call back so that's what I did. After three rings she answers.
"'Ewo" I say as I'm still brushing my teeth
"Red! Omg how was catching up with Adam!?! You need to tell me everything. What's your apartment address?"
I spit into the sink and rinsed my mouth, "oh, I spent the night at his house. I'll send you my address. Let's meet up with each other"
"...." Silence
"Ma-"
"YOU WHAT!?!" She screams. I jumped back a little and held onto my chest
"Jesus Christ Macy, a little loud much" I say holding my hand over my chest
"You spent the night at his house?! Did you guys"
I cut her off before her imagination ran wild, "no no no, 1) his brothers were with us so gross and 2) we were having a Pokemon marathon and lost track of time"
She sighs in relief, "oh thank god. I know I'm shipping you guys and all, but I don't want to be an aunt yet"
"trust me" I say laughing " you're not. Anyways I'm starving right now so I'll meet up with you at my apartment later with the rest of the guys"
"Kay Kay, want me to get Devon and the rest of the guys to help you set things up?"
"Yup, I'm counting on you. See ya"
"Got it. Later"
I hanged up the phone and started to change my clothes. After fixing my hair I walked out of the bathroom only to be welcomed by the scent of waffles.
"Oh my Jesus food" I say hungrily as I grabbed two pieces drenching them with syrup. I scarfed them down so fast I started coughing. Adam quickly passes me a cup of water which I chugged a little too fast.
"Calm down there R, there's no need to rush"
I blushed "you know I love waffles"
"That I do" he says laughing
So here's something you should know about me, I'm a really picky eater. I don't like vegetables and will refuse to eat them. If something taste weird to me I won't eat it. Now I love breakfast food, don't get me wrong, but there's little things I prefer more than others. Like waffles, I'm more of a waffle person than I am a pancake person. It's sorta embarrassing for me to always tell people my preferences so I'm pretty happy to eat at a place where I don't have to worry about that kinda stuff.
"So after this Macy said we'll meet her and the guys at my apartment later."
He nods, "sure, I'm guessing I'm going to have to help you set things up. And by set up I mean do all the work while you and Macy criticize us."
"Yep" I say popping the "p"
He sighs, "let's not keep her highness waiting"
"I'm telling her you said that"
"Please don't" he says horrified
While eating I took some time inspecting Adam. His hair is messy since he just got up and his eyes still looked pretty tired. So basically he looked adorable. To type it all off, he was shirtless. I repeat, shirtless. His muscles and abs are pretty defined but he's not the macho type. He's the perfect balance between lean and muscular. I noticed myself drooling a little and quickly got my plate to put it in the sink. Bad Amber! It's too early for this! Stupid attractive Blue.
As Im having my mental battle with myself an arm appears next to me setting down a plate, "you ready?"
Not trusting myself I replied back with a nod. He quickly grabs a sweater and opens the door, "well you comin or not?"
"Oh trust me I am" I mumble as I follow him out the door
