I took a deep breathe. Looking down at my phone I stared at the day, Monday. Standing in front of the mirror and looking myself over I smiled. My hair was straightened and I had applied some light make up on. My glasses are off, revealing my emerald green eyes and my skirt was, okay, a bit shorter but come on, what are we? The early 1900's?
I didn't plan to do anything more with myself other than those few things. Straightening out my outfit I let out a sigh. "I can do this," I repeated, "I can do this." I said those words as if it was a mantra.
"Of course you can."
Not even surprised by the unexpected voice I turned around to face Blue. I wasn't surprised because, well, Blue has a tendency to appear out of no where anyway. He looked at me smiling as he looked over my appearance. "For someone who's not used to dressing up for school, you're pretty good at it."
I smiled back at him and walked over to my kitchen to grab a water bottle, "thanks. I actually tried this time."
Chuckling he picks up G who was busying himself by prancing around Blue's legs. Again, his adorable version of greeting our guests. Mumbling Blue says, "I've been meaning to say that to you for a week now.""What did you say?" I yelled back at him.
"We're gonna be late. Meet you in the car."
Yesterday I got a text from Blue asking if I wanted a ride to and from school. I quickly replied 'yes' because I do not want to suffer going on the bus again. Some days it can be okay, but other days it can get weird, very weird. Like one morning I spent my ride listening to a couple aggressively fighting about who drank the last beer.
Checking the time I noticed we only had 15 minutes till class starts. Scrambling I hurriedly put my stuff in my backpack, put together my lunch, and said a quick goodbye to G for which I got a cute bark in return. Racing out of the apartment I see Blue's car and jumped right into the passenger seat.
"Uber?" I say breathlessly
Chuckling Blue starts up the car and shakes his head. "I wish. You'd have to pay me then."
"What about my friendship?" I say asking him while showing him my famous puppy dog eyes.
Blue scoffs, "I can't pay rent with friendship."
Fake gasping I wiped a faked tear from my eye, "are you picking money over our unbreakable bond?"
Blue rolls his eyes. "Oh great. I let a Kardahsian in my car. "
Spotting a pair of sunglasses in the car I put them on and turned towards Blue while making a dramatic pose. "What do you think? Kim or Kourtney?"
Instead of replying he just starts laughing while I began a series of over dramatic poses. This was also followed by my live concert through the playlist of High School Music 1. I nearly freaked out when I saw Blue had the album for it. He claims he got it for the twins cause they really liked the movie but I know about his man crush on Zach Effron. I mean cmon, who doesn't?
I gotta
Get my, get my head in the game
You gotta
Get'cha, Get'cha, Get'ch, Get'cha head in the game
We were already at the parking lot at this point and had already found a spot to park the car. Before I could say the next line Blue stopped me and took the lead.
