How is everyone?

"Dan! Are you okay?" PJ practically yelled, running towards his friend who looked on the verge of crying.

"I'm fine. Don't ask." Dan sighed, rubbing his fists against his eyes in hopes of making the redness subside slightly. He had cried a lot and that wasn't good at all; his eyes were really red and puffy.

"I'm your friend. It's my duty to ask."

"Phil." Was all Dan could say before he broke down again.

"What did he do? I'm going to kill him." PJ put his arm around Dan who was trembling.

"He told me he never liked me and that we couldn't talk anymore." Dan cried before realising how stupid he probably looked and sounded. "I probably sound pathetic. We didn't even hang out that much.. why am I letting it get to me?"

"You obviously liked him a lot..."

"He lead me on too. I thought he really liked me! He kissed my cheek and held my hand, I thought.. I thought.." Dan couldn't carry on because he was crying so much.

"Dan, it's okay.. do you want me to yell at him or something?" Dan shook his head slightly before pushing his friend away.

"I'm going to speak to him right now." Dan then stormed down the corridor to where he knew Phil and his popular friends hung out.

When he got there, he tapped Phil on the shoulder and he didn't even think that half the populars were there with him. "I really liked you, Phil." Dan harshly muttered, making most of the populars laugh slightly. "I didn't just like you, you know.. I like liked you. I had a crush on you. The biggest mistake ever." The populars were now laughing so loud that Dan's ears were ringing but the only thing he cared about was the boy standing in front of him.

"You liked me like that?" Phil barely whispered before Dan nodded, glaring at him.

"Yeah. I did." Dan could barely prepare to walk away before he heard one of the populars yell something.

"He's yelling at you, Phil! What are you going to do about that?" Phil looked down at his fists before shaking his head.

"What are you? A wimp?" Someone else yelled and Dan could literally see Phil's face turning red in anger. Dan closed his eyes, wincing and awaiting for Phil's fist to come in contact with his face. It didn't happen though. When Dan dared to slowly open his eyes, he realised that Phil was no longer in front of him.

Dan had maths first. He had come to hate maths even more than he used to because he was now forced to sit with Phil Lester who he now hated with all his heart. Maybe that was a lie. He still liked Phil a lot he just couldn't bring himself to admit it. He slumped down in his seat, making sure that the chair was as close to the window and as far from Phil as possible. He didn't care for the worksheet in front of him, he just spent the whole lesson staring outside. He wasn't in the mood for work. He just wanted to be alone so that he could think about everything that had happened with Phil. "Dan." He heard Phil whisper beside him but he just ignored the sound of his voice. "Let me explain." Dan finally turned to Phil but only to glare at him with all his might.

"No." He snapped before turning back to the window.

Dan was tired.. so tired. He generally had no idea how he had survived until fifth period, with Phil pestering him so much. It was extremely annoying since Dan had decided to give Phil the silent treatment. He was still upset and angry about everything he had said.

All the same, Dan couldn't help but wonder if Phil regretted saying it. Maybe Phil liked him to? Maybe. The chance of that though was tiny. Why would Phil Lester like a loser like Dan Howell? Phil said so himself, he never even liked him.
