I'm going to start updating this every Saturday :3

PJ put his hand up, getting the teacher's attention almost immediately. "May I go to the toilet?" The teacher then nodded, handing a pass to PJ so he could leave.

Once he had done his business and was washing his hands, someone else entered the room. Phil Lester.

"PJ, I need to talk to you." He said, standing in the way of the door so that PJ couldn't escape. "I made a mistake telling Dan that I didn't like him, okay? You know that, right?" PJ just nodded, not daring to say anything in case he said the wrong thing. "Well Dan kind of admitted that he liked me earlier and it made me realise that I needed to apologise. I'm going to tell you why I said what I said and you need to swear not to tell anyone, okay?"

"I swear.. why are you telling me this though?" PJ barely whispered, nodding his head.

"I need your help. I told Dan I didn't like him because I was afraid. I really like him too and I've never liked a.. guy.. like that before. It scared me. I thought it would go away if I stopped talking to Dan but it hasn't. If anything.. it just made me like him more." Once PJ noticed the tears in Phil's eyes, he knew that he needed to help him talk to Dan. PJ had never seen Phil so distressed and the sheer sadness on Phil's face made PJ realise that it wasn't a joke. Phil really did like Dan.

"What do I have to do to help you?"

"What's Dan's locker combination? And which locker is his?" PJ narrowed his eyes, not getting Phil's plan at all.

"How will this help you speak to Dan?"

"Just trust me, okay?" Phil forced a smile for PJ so he just gave in and told Phil Dan's locker combination. PJ didn't really mind that he was breaking a promise he made with Dan on the first week of the year; PJ and Dan had told each other their locker combinations in case they forgot them and promised not to tell anyone. PJ broke the promise but that was okay, he was about to save Dan and Phil's friendship.

-

Once History was done with, Dan wandered down the corridor to his locker which he opened in one swift movement. He threw his history book inside it before realising that there was a pink Post-It note stuck on the inside of the door.

Call me.

Then there was a number which Dan most definitely didn't recognise. After a lot of mental arguing with himself, Dan added the number into his phone contacts under the name ?.

He then sent him a short text simply saying:

Who are you?

-

Dan entered his house with his shoulders slumped. He had walked home alone because Chris and PJ decided to get another detention together and walking alone meant he had time to think. The mysterious Post-It note giver hadn't responded to his text yet, making Dan ask even more questions. "Dan, you're home!" His mum called as soon as she noticed Dan's presence.

"I am." Dan mumbled, turning around to head upstairs before his mum pulled him back.

"Have you asked your friend if they can come over for dinner yet?" Dan's eyes widened as he realised that he had completely forgotten about asking Phil round but now he couldn't and how would he explain to his mum that they were no longer friends? Dan wasn't sure if he was ready to talk about Phil with his mum but he had to, didn't he? Or she would pester him with more questions.

"We are no longer friends." Dan muttered, placing his bag down on one of the kitchen chairs.

"Why?"

"He told me that he never liked me." Dan's eyes filled with tears at the memory and no matter how hard he wiped his eyes, they wouldn't leave.

"Oh, honey.." Dan's mum then enveloped Dan into a hug he sure needed.
-

It's Phil.

Dan dropped his phone as soon as he read the message; he couldn't believe it. He didn't know how to respond to that at all. Part of him was curious as to what he wanted but another part of him was telling him that it wasn't a good idea to talk to him; he would probably just hurt his feelings again. Sadly (or not sadly, depending on how you saw the situation) his curious side took over and he was tapping out a message in response.

What do you want?

Dan knew that it made him sound like a complete and utter jerk but in his mind, he had every right to be a jerk. Phil had told him he didn't like him therefore it was only right for him to be rude back.

I'm sorry. I really need to explain to you why I said what I said. Can we meet up?

Dan bit his lip as he contemplated what would be the right thing to say in response to that message. He wasn't entirely sure if it would be a good idea to see him so he mentally listed a few pros and cons to meeting up with Phil Lester.

Pros: He would be able to find out why Phil didn't like him.

That was all he could come up with.

Cons: Phil could be with the populars and could beat him up or something.

It might not even be Phil talking to him.

This could be one, big prank to hurt his feelings again and give him false hope.

For some reason, although the cons overweighed the pros, Dan agreed. After all, he couldn't say no to Phil Lester. Even after everything that happened, nothing had changed that fact.
