All my chapters seem so short, but its hard to write some of them so I just end it at a good spot just so people who have been waiting for a new chapter can read it haha.  Cause I'm such a nice guy (;

So!  Last chapter I introduced you to some friends, explored the psyche of our main characters and their feelings about their home away from home and our heroes must continue their journey once more and save Storm.  Can They Do It?  Stay Tuned And Find Out True Believers!

Andrew's P.O.V

"Alright so I feel things might be a little jive so I'm thinking we'll go around through east Kingston and then take Albany Ave."  I said as we walked out of Jahimi's humble abode already expecting Andy's response.

"Dude that is gonna take forever!"  I knew he would say that, but I couldn't think of any other way.  Then I got one idea that might work.

"Kitty can you skate?"

"What?"  She obviously wasn't paying attention I guess she was just down for anything and was waiting for us.

"Can you skate?  Like skate board?  As in stand on a skateboard and go a reasonable pace."

She laughed as if we were crazy.  "No way can I skate, me skating is like watching a crow try to sing."

My plan wasn't all lost however. I went back into Jahimi's house and managed to borrow a bike and two skateboards.  They we're all in good condition and would hold up for certain on our cross town voyage.  When I handed Andy one of the skateboards there was an instant look of relief in his eyes.

"Okay!  So Kitty you can take the bike and um obviously we'll skate."   There was a nod of approval as I expected there would be.  I was so pleased to place the board on the pavement and hop on it.  No matter what the circumstances the little things always ease the pressure.

The roads were quiet and empty as we went across East Kingston.  I was so relaxed and ready for what may come.  I was expecting all hell to break loose when we found Ororo, but it didn't phase me at all.  I can do anything.

Even though it took us maybe an hour to basically circumnavigate Kingston we arrived in uptown and were ready to find Ororo.  I had a strong feeling based on what Xavier told me that she'd be in the woods by the stadium so I led us to there.  It felt so weird, the streets were empty.  Not even cops or bums were out.  I shook away this thought I had done crazy super hero action star things today and I had a skateboard.  I can do anything.

We approached the entrance to the woods slowly.  It was so dark.  In the night the trees seemed to go on forever.

"So should we just call her name or......?"  Asked Andy.

"I thought about it, but we don't wanna attract any attention."

"God damn it is so dark."

"Kitty, do you have any ideas on how to find her?"

"Um maybe the professor can like help us."

"Sweet idea!"  I took a seat on a rock just a few feet into the darkness of the woods.

"Try and be quiet guys I'm gonna try and get in touch with the professor."

I closed my eyes, breathed in.  Breathed out.

Professor?  Can you hear me?

No response.  I moved all other thoughts from my head.

Professor X we need your help.

Andrew.  Once again I have to say it is remarkable how easily you get in touch with me.  I sense you need to help to find Ororo?

Precisely Professor

Ororo's P.O.V

This is a disaster.  The brotherhood have never been so out right destructive.  A whole town has been crippled.  I can't even do anything without the possibility of being gunned down by the National Guard if I so much as take one step foot out of this eerie prison I've made home till I'm rescued.

I felt so helpless.  What if no one was coming to find me?  I can't believe the professor would ever abandon me, but I wish my rescuers would come soon.  I kept the dark night even darker with heavy clouds above my woods.

Ororo can you hear me?

Yes Professor, I was just thinking about you.

I know.  Worry no more, your rescue team is just around the corner.  Make some kind of signal so they can see you.

Yes professor, thank you.

Andrew's P.O.V

There was a loud crash.  I looked up from where I was sitting and even through the trees I saw it, a huge bolt of lightening came straight out of the ground not far from here.  Rain began to pour.

"Come on guy's that's our signal!"  I said and chased off towards our comrade deeper into the woods.  I could hear Kitty and Andy struggling to keep up through the brush of the woods after hearing them curse repeatedly from interacting with branches.  I felt no pain as I sprinted and hurtled over rocks I barely made out in the utter darkness.

Another crash of lightening rang out and this time I saw it through the tree line with out looking up.  I pushed myself even harder. I saw a clearing and burst into it like it was freedom.  I saw Ororo sitting on a rock in the otherwise empty space surrounded by the trees.

"Oh thank God, I was so worried I'd be stuck here!"

I just looked at her and wiped the sweat off my brow, panting heavily and managed a small smile.  The other two crashed out of the background behind me.  Track was truly paying off.

"Alright children, let's go!"  She said.  I just sighed and motioned for her to follow us as I turned back around towards the tree line.
