I feel like the last chapter was one of the better ones what do you think? Yeah I just wanted to end it where I did so it didn't drag on. Okay so without further adieu, True Believers Enjoy!
"Hey Logan!" I shouted as I stepped out of the elevator into the arena that was the Danger Room. He looked back at me.
"Listen, kid I know you got your wings yesterday, but I doubt you can handle this. Let me go change the settings before you get hurt."
"Hey man, I can handle it. Just gimme a chance."
"I like the attitude, but this isn't really for amateurs."
"Well just stay in here with and there will only be one amateur."
"Suit yourself bub, but if you get hurt it should be a lesson to stay out next time."
I ran over to Logan as the next wave of large robots appeared. These ones were about 12 feet tall and very menacing. Alone I'd be nervous, but Logan was an absolute animal.
As they approached I remembered what The Professor said yesterday and I relaxed and released myself.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
I took aim at one of the giants that was about fifteen feet away and brought the ground in front of him up in to his legs severing him in half at the knees.
I could do this.
I looked over to the dead robots closest comrade. He was getting closer and closer. I had no fear. I ran towards it and sent the energy of fire into my hands that actually set on fire, but I felt no pain. With my flaming fists I jumped and dived into the colossus, while in air my whole body became a fiery blaze. As I made contact the robot lit up like a match, malfunctioning instantly.
I freaked out a little as I became 100% aware that I was in an inflamed state. Like my hands, the rest of my body felt no pain. I was the master of this fire that covered me like a jumpsuit. I looked down at my body and then up at my next unlucky computerized nemesis. I shot all the fire from body at him forming a missile straight from hell that when it crashed into him he exploded.
I was a bad ass.
All the bots from that wave had been dispatched, I looked at Logan and he showed no emotion indicating that he was impressed or not. atleast he wasn't mad I guess.
A new wave appeared this time with twice as many bots of varying size. I really wanted to see what I could do. I focused on using wind and water together to see what would happen. Getting either one to be produced at the same time was hard. Finally, I began to feel a strong wind circle around me. I stuck out both of my hands out in front of me and water began to flow.
With the water and the wind's increasing speed I was taking out all the bots near me with massive wave like walls of water. The amount of water I was producing was unbelievable. It was up to my ankles. The wind was moving at at least twenty miles per hour.
I was so tired.
I couldn't breath.
I heard Logan yelling at me.
I couldn't understand.
I couldn't stop.
I couldn't do anything.
