Hey everybody!  This chapter I'm actually really awake for and I'm gonna do my absolute best to make this the absolute best chapter so far.  Enjoy True Believer!

From Charles Xavier's P.O.V

"So Charles, what do you think of the kids?"

"Well Logan.  I certainly believe that they are good people and have potential.  Some of the more promising students we've received in a while."

"I think so too, they may be a little immature especially around some girls, but I'd be worried if they acted any differently."

"I guess you're right, well I'll be in my office working.  Come see me if you need me Logan."

"You can count on that Charles."

Indeed these possible students had potential.  Although their powers haven't been exercised in my presence they have the character a hero needs.  Both seemed bright and trustworthy.  It would indeed be fortunate if they chose to work with the X-Men.

Now, in my office I began checking the news.  I was slightly taken back.  A local senator was running for president.  The man was Oscar Riccardi.  It would be very troublesome if this man won publicity, a nomination or God forbid the presidency.  I knew this man as an ignorant xenophobe.  He was a close friend of Senator Kelly, a constant enemy to me and my peers.  I easily believe this man, a man of power who with even more power will become a certain threat to my organization and mutants everywhere.

Some attempt at speaking to this man must be made in order to divert any kind of large anti-mutant stance during his campaign.  Even if he didn't run his views may rub off on some Americans and tension between mutants and humans were already high.

I sensed Ororo and the boys coming to my office.

Knock Knock.

"Please come in"

Andrew's P.O.V

We had just finished the tour of the building and now as requested we're going to Xavier's office.  The tour had been really eye opening.  The building was cooler than I ever dreamed.  There was a dining room that could hold one hundred people easily.  There was also a decent size lounge for the students with two couches and a large t.v.  There were a few people in the lounge, but Ororo decided we had all week to meet people and she was sure whatever Xavier talked about was rather important.  Then we went to the second floor which was dominated by class rooms.  The third and fourth floors were full of dorms and another lounge.  The one dorm we saw was vacant and well decorated.  The bed was extremely comfortable.  Just sleeping in that every night made me wanna live here.  We also saw some of the backyard which had a pool and a basketball court.  Although big it wasn't anything too exciting.

Ororo knocked on the door to Xavier's office.

Knock Knock

"Please come in."

So we did.

"Enjoy the tour gentlemen?"

"Oh no doubt Professor, this place is so huge!  I wish it was my house." Said Andy

"Well that could be arranged if you so wish, now I'd personally like to show you two the basement which is absolutely off limits to anyone with out special permission."

I felt honored.  The professor obviously trusted Andy and I a lot to let us see this.

Xavier hit a button on his desk and part of the wall on the left side of the room slid to expose an elevator.  The four of us got in and went down to the basement.

As we got out of the elevator I was completely stunned.  The whole area was white and huge.  It was like a huge lab from a sci-fi flick.

"Woah, this is unreal."

"You get used to it." Said Ororo.

"Ororo, can you show Andy the Danger Room while I show Andrew Cerebro?"

She nodded her head and our small group split into two directions, they went left and The Professor and I went right.

All sorts of thoughts went through my head.  What the hell was Cerebro?  What the fuck was a Danger Room and what was she going to do to Andy?

"Just relax.  The Danger Room is a simulator where The X-men and my students hone their skills and we want to see the extent of your friend's natural healing ability and his over all athletic ability."

"You can read my thoughts?"

"I feel silly I haven't told you yet, but yes.  I am a telepath.  It is my special ability.  In fact I am perhaps one of the most telepaths in the world.  I am even able to communicate with any of my students at any moment no matter where they are using my thoughts."

"That's insane.  So what's Cerebro?"

"It is a type of super computer I have developed and with it I can find nearly any mutant in the world.  This is how I found your friend and almost every other student here.  It is quite powerful and only a telepath as skilled as me should use it or they run the risk of serious psychological injury or even death.  I am going to use determine wether or not you are a mutant.  Than if you are one, which I am fairly certain you are, we are going to go to the Danger Room and hopefully discover your unique talent."

"Well I hope I am one."

"Even if you are not Andrew, you are still capable of great things.  You will always be welcome here and my friend."

"Thank you sir."

We entered through a large circular sliding door that led to a huge spherical shaped room.  We must be really underground.  The walls were all made up of screens currently white.  In front of us there was a straight path to a platform in the center of the sphere.  The platform had a chair and a very complex looking computer and an odd helmet hooked up to a machine.

We made our way along the path until we were on the platform.

"Alright, here we go." he said

He turned on the computer and all the screens on the wall turned on as well.  All the screens had pictures of people I had never seen.  I looked all around the room and eventually saw Andy and Logan.  It was very impressive but also unnerving.

Then he put on the strange metallic helmet, and began to type something into the computer.  What he typed showed up on the wall in front of us.  It was a large serial number like code, and then my picture showed up.

The professor looked up at me from his wheel chair and smiled while he took off the helmet.

"Well Andrew, this settles it.  You are positive for the X-gene."

Duhn Duhn Duhn!  But you probably saw that coming.  Ok I just didn't want this chapter to be super long but I am immediately starting the next one so it should be done in like an hour!  Peace out True Believer.
