I was finally going home. Josh left to grab some stuff at his house because he's gonna be staying with me for a while.
He suggested it. I objected, but he wouldn't shut up.
But I don't know why he would. It's confusing. First, he is cocky and a jerk and the next, he's nice and supportive.
The door opened suddenly, snapping me out of my thoughts. "Hey, ready to go?" Josh asked, his head peeping out behind the door.
I cleared my throat. "Y-yeah. Let's go." His eyebrows furrowed. "You okay? Why are your cheeks so pink?"
I hesitated. "It's hot in here. Can we go now?" His face was filled with confusion, but nodded. I sighed.
Glad he bought it.
"Feel better, Miss Tyson," a nurse said to me as we walked by. I thanked her and proceeded.
When we reached the car, Josh rushed over to my side to help me inside the car. I just rolled my eyes at him. "I'm fine. I'll be able to get in a car."
"You don't know what can happen," he snapped. I snickered at his attitude. The side of his mouth twitched upwards. "What?"
"Nothing. Your attitude just got me laughing." He smirked. "What, jealous? I learned it from you."
I gasped. "Did not! And I do not have an attitude!" Josh's smirked stayed in place. "You're cute when you are mad."

We pulled up onto my parking lot. I didn't wait for Josh. I ran inside my house and plopped on my couch.
"I'm so sorry! My baby has been alone for so long!" I shouted. Josh came in looking annoyed. "You could've helped me, you know."
I stuck out my tongue. "Be a man."
He just rolled his eyes. I laughed and ran up to my room. It was just the way I left it.
Well, shit. Of course it has. No one has been here. Stupid.
I laughed to myself. "Emily!" Josh called. I groaned. I set my bag and coat down on my bed and went to see what the boy wanted.
"What, Michaels?" I answered in annoyance, but nearly peed when I saw Josh on the ground in the kitchen.
"What the hell are eggs doing on the ground?!" he asked. I laughed and held my stomach tightly. "Y-you.....o-oh my g-god!"
I noticed his angry face, but I was enjoying it. I smiled after I finished my laughing. I walked over to him and offered my hand.
He grabbed it and I pulled him up. But I slipped on an egg behind me. I slipped backwards, but before I could go smack into the ground, a strong arm held my waist.
Josh's face was inches away from mine. He was leaning down to my almost-laying body.
Our breath blew on each other's cheeks. His eyes peered in mine. "You're lucky I caught you," he whispered. He helped steady me up. "Uh, thanks."
He just nodded. "But why in the world are there eggs on my kitchen floor?!" I shouted. Just as I was about to start a tantrum, the door opened.
"Hurry, come on!" a voice whisper-yelled. Josh and I looked at each other. We heard shuffling. I walked to the door slowly.
I pulled it open all the way. "Gigi?"
Gigi screamed. "Emily!" I stared at her. "What are you doing here?" I asked.
"I could ask you the same thing." I rolled my eyes. "I live here." Brandon came up behind Gigi. "Emily?!"
Josh walked up next to me. "Okay, what is going on? Why are you two so surprised to see me?" I asked...well demanded.
"Uh, well." Gigi stammered. Brandon sighed. "Gigi and I threw a party here late last night," he mumbled.
"You what!" I screamed. "We cleaned up, but forgot the eggs. We tried to come here early before anyone got hurt," Gigi explained.
"Yeah, well too late for that. We both slipped already," Josh said. "So it's you who put eggs on the floor?" I screamed, again.
"No, other people! We tried to get here before you arrived, but..." Brandon trailed off.
"Okay," I started, raising my hands up to gesture a 'wait' motion. "I was planning for you two to give me a welcoming gift but I come home to eggs on the floor."
Brandon and Gigi had a face of guilt. "At least they didn't trash my room," I mumbled.
And just like that, their heads whipped up and their eyes were wide. "Oh hell no." I sprinted to my room.
It looked fine, but I decided to check. I walked slowly to my closet. I grasped the doorknob. Slowly and carefully, I opened it.
I didn't even had to open it all the way. It flew open. My clothes were scattered everywhere. I think some were worn. I screamed as loud as I could.
I ran to my bed and pulled the blanket off. I screamed again. "You two are so dead!"
On the bed sheet, there were dried eggs and chocolate stains. On the corner of the bed, there was a drawing of a middle finger.
"Emily!" Josh was the first to burst through the door. I turned slowly. My angry face was looking around, ignoring Josh, and trying to find Gigi and Brandon.
Gigi and Brandon slowly appeared at my door, their heads looking down at the ground.
I fumed in anger. Josh ran up to me. "Hey, calm down. We can fix this."
I relaxed at his touch, but tensed again. "NO! They are to clean up every nook and cranny in this house. I don't care if it's already cleaned up. Clean it again!"
Josh
Emily ran up to her room as fast as lightning. I glared at Gigi and Brandon.
"Why would you throw a party here?!" I scolded. "We....we didn't think you guys would find out," Gigi whispered. I rolled my eyes. "Too late for that, don't you think?"
"Hey! Watch how you're talking to her!" Brandon shouted, defending Gigi. I glared at him. "It's both of your faults and when Emily finds what's going on in her room, she will ki-"
I was cut off by a scream from upstairs. "Emily!" I shouted. Gigi and Brandon looked horrified. "Uh, I think she found th-"
Another scream. "You two are so dead!" I didn't even wait for Gigi and Brandon. I ran upstairs and found Emily.
She turned around, the deadliest glare on her face.
I walked up to her. "Hey, it's okay. We can fix this," I said calmly. Her body relaxed at my touch, but tensed again.
"NO! They are to clean up every nook and cranny in this house. I don't care if it's already cleaned up. Clean it again!" she screamed.
"There are day old eggs on my bed! My clothes were worn and ripped! And someone drew the middle finger on my bed!"
I looked at the drawing instantly. When she noticed my expression, she went pale. "That's not a middle finger."
"You two. Out. Of. Here. Now," I sternly told the Gigi and Brandon as they stood outside the bedroom. They rushed out and when we heard the front door shut, we both relaxed and sighed.
Emily collapsed down towards the ground, but I caught her. She was breathing hard. She groaned. "Those two pieces of sh-"
"Hey. Stop. You should rest," I said. "Where? My bed is trashed." I thought for a second. "Let's sleep in the living room tonight. Gigi and Brandon can clean tomorrow."
She nodded. "Those idiots owe me a whole new wardrobe."
