When Emily walked out, I couldn't believe how she looked.

She must have noticed me staring at her because she said, "Anything wrong, Josh?"

Josh. How my name sounds when she says it.

She chuckled lightly and went into the passenger seat. I straightened out my black pants and plain white shirt and leather jacket before entering the car.

Josh took me to a little cafe called, Cafe Bliss.

We entered and we both ordered. I got peppermint, he got pumpkin spice. I got angel's food cake, he got devil's food cake. I got macarons, he got pastries.

While we waited, we had some time to talk. Josh tapped on the table while talking.

"So, how does it feel being back?" he asked.

I shrugged. "It's fine. I just have to deal with annoying people again."

He was about to say something, but our food came. We dug in straight away.

While we ate, I couldn't help but stare at the tiny speck of chocolate cream on the left side of the corner of his mouth.

I suddenly had an idea. I reached over slowly. He looked up in surprise. I wiped off the cream and licked it off my finger.

He just stared. I shrugged. "What? You had chocolate cream on your face." He groaned. "Don't do that. It's attractive."

I blushed but tried to hide it. Josh's eyes were wide and he grinned. "You actually blushed!" he exclaimed. I rolled my eyes. "No, it's just stuffy in here."

He laughed at my little 'excuse.' Then he just peered into my eyes and stayed there for a while which made me blush even more.

Why the hell am I blushing?

Josh chuckled at my failure of hiding it. He reached over and put my hair behind my ear. "Don't hide it. You look cute."

I bit my lip in embarrassment. Josh glared. "Yeah, don't do that either."

Josh drove me home after we left.

"Well, I had a fun night," he said as he scratched the back of his head. I smiled. "I did too. I'll see you at school tomorrow."

When I closed the door, Gigi ran straight to me. "How was it? Did he hurt you?"

I clapped both of my hands in front of her face. "Gi, I'm alright! Nothing went wrong."

Gigi's face lit up and she grinned smugly.

"We gotta make you extra hot tomorrow," she said.
