I felt like a new me.
"Emilia?"
I turned around. Josh. I could see him much clearer now.
I decided to talk to him. "Emily. You don't get to call me Emilia."
He scratched the back of his head. "You've changed."
I crossed my arms and smirked. "Why? You don't like it?"
His eyes widened and he looked like he felt guilty. "No! You look...I mean, you look....good."
I turned my back to him. "I know."
(Josh's Pov)
Damn. Emily looks so much hotter. I almost cracked up laughing when she threatened and rejected Chris.I like this side of her.
I kind of regret what I did to her before. I can still smell that vanilla scent on her.
I love it.
Wait-
"Why? You don't like it?" she asked, snapping me out of my thoughts.
I felt guilty all of a sudden. "No! You look... I mean, you look good."
She turned her back to me.
"I know." I suddenly felt awkward around her. I never feel awkward around girls.
As I was about to say something, I heard Cassandra's high pitched voice.
"Joshy, baby!" I heard Emily curse under her breath.
"Hey boo! Come on, we gott- oh, who's this?" she asked in disgust.
Emily smiled and introduced herself. "Miss me?"
Emily
I heard Cassandra's high pitched voice and cursed under my breath.
I introduced myself as I noticed her disgusting glare.
"Miss me?" I asked and crossed my arms. Cassandra flicked her hair back and tried to gain Josh's attention. "Let's go. This girl is wasting our valuable time."
I laughed. "You're not that special, Cassandra." I walked away as I still felt Josh's eyes on me.
I heard Cassandra shuffle behind me. A hand was placed on my shoulder and spun me around.
"Who are you and how dare you say to me?!" Josh looked furious.
I turned back to Cassandra and noticed she had slapped me. I usually control myself no matter how badly I wanted to kill this bitch. But not this time.
I punched her. I aimed for her jaw. My fist was tightened and slammed right into her pretty hard.
She stumbled back and since she was wearing high heels, she couldn't balance herself so she fell right on her butt.
I crossed my arms. "You're the one who is not worth my time."
Josh
I can't believe it. Emily actually punched Cassandra. When Cassandra slipped on her heels and fell back, she plopped on her butt and I tried to hide a laugh.
Emily looks so tough. She had the courage to do that. When she walked away, I couldn't help but stare.
By the time I looked back to Cassandra, she already ran off. I'm guessing she's gonna try to get Emily back with her minions doing the dirty work.

When the last bell rang, Gigi came running over to me.
I looked at her like she was crazy. She and I ignored the stares we got from the girls and boys.
"CassandraisspreadingrumorseverywherethatyoustoleJoshfromher." She said real fast, trying to catch her breath.
"What?" I couldn't understand a word.
She breathed a few times before speaking again. "Cassandra is spreading rumors everywhere that you stole Josh from her."
I snorted. "Yeah, and Josh is my boyfriend."
Gigi's eyes widened. I chuckled weirdly. "Hello? Don't you get sarcasm?"
Then I noticed she was staring behind me. I groaned. "Please don't tell me he heard that."
I turned around and saw Josh's face. "We could fix that, you know?"
I laughed sarcastically. "No, I'm good."
He smirked. "Oh, come on. I won't bite.....at first."
I sighed like I was unsure. "I don't know. There's better guys out there. Especially those who knows how to treat a girl right."
Josh's eyes flickered. "Let me take you on a date. A proper one," he said, quickly.
I rose a brow. "You sound eager."
He shook his head. "No. I...just asked first."
I sighed. "Fine. Tonight at seven. I'll see you later then."
As he walked away, Gigi was staring at me. "What?"
"I thought you wanted to get revenge! Are you telling me you're falling for him?"
I groaned. "No, I'm just trying to get closer to him in order for everything to fall in place."
~
I heard Josh's car horn outside.
Gigi smiled. "You look hot."
I laughed. I was wearing a creme colored dress with black heels and black acessories.
Gigi was bugging me because she wanted to do my makeup.
I somehow convinced her to go with the same look she did on me today. Simple and natural, how I like it. I'm not such a big fan of bold looks, but maybe some red lips once in a while.
Gigi playfully shoved me. "Get him begging on his knees." I laughed. "I doubt it. Okay, I gotta go. Bye."
"You better be back before midnight!" she yelled from inside. "Okay, Mom!" I shouted back.
I stopped in my tracks as I said that word. I haven't seen my mom for a while. She had died in an accident. I've never had any contact with my father.
I had my Grandma and Aunt Miranda, but they're in London. I eventually moved back here when I was 14 with my first cousin, Amanda.
Amanda is currently living with her fiance ever since she turned 20. She helped me with finding an apartment, but she lives about 3 hours away.
I shook the thought of my family off and opened the gate.
This is gonna be interesting.
