Picture of Sam⬆++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Short story;
Samuel Roberts, a boy who moved to Luckville freshmen year. He was everything I wanted, everything I needed. He was perfectly quiet and shy for me to fall for, yet he still had the ego the size of Alaska. Nobody knew his parents. Not even me. We began getting closer and before I knew it we were inseparable. That was until two years after Freshmen year. Sam went to a party and took some nasty things. He wasn't the same afterwards. He began having seizures and talking about killing people. He cut himself to satisfy his pain. He wasn't Sam anymore. I knew him better than everybody so when he didn't show up a whole month for school, I went to explore. I went into his house only to find the dead bodies of his my her and father. I was scared for him. I did the most reasonable thing. I turned him in. Last I seen of him was when they pulled him from the darkened home. Blood went to his elbows and his hair had over grown to his nose. He just stared at me as the carried him to a van. Everybody in Luckville was effected. The house became known as the haunted house and was used to scare poor little freshmen children. That's what they put in the papers. That didn't put my point of view. I was an orphan millionaire who lived in a him with nobody and had murderous next door neighbor slash best friend. We were the mysterious students of Luck High. Not only did everyone think I had some part in the murders but they accused me of witchcraft to murder his parents. I was sent to a mental asylum for half he year until they realized, I was just another teenager worried about school and the future. When I returned to school everyone had mostly forgotten about my part of the story and all the talk was the haunted Roberts place. The house I had felt so comfortable living next to with the blue archways and the big front door. Sam's home, and his parents grave. Even though I wasn't considered a crazy child, kids still thought me as one. Making sure to walk on egg shells around me in case I had a chance to turned around and go off on them. So here I was, at a school of rumor spreading, immature idiots, and now a boy who looks just like Sam. Maybe I should be mental...
The bell for third period rang and I walked in. I sat in my usual chair for choir but something was different. I looked to the crowd of kids in the corner whispering.
"Is this seat taken?" A deep voice asked and I sighed. I turned to answer but was frozen. His blue eyes matched Same perfectly. He was taller and more muscular and had lighter hair than Sam's. Sam loved his hair short while this boy had it long.
"Um, yeah. I mean no. You can sit here." I said turning and mentally slapping myself.
"Cool thanks." He said taking the seat next to me. I could feel him staring at me so I pulled my hood over my short black hair.
"My names Alec, Alec Woods." He said holding out one o his huge hands. I took mine carefully and shook it.
"Tara McGuire." I said and he smiled.
"What a beautiful name." He said as the other kids stood in the corner talking. I heard the door open and shut and was greeted by big glasses.
"Tara are you ready to today?" She asked.
"What are you talking about Hope?" I asked and we sighed.
"Mr. Deanhan's big project! The talented singers contest." She said an I sighed.
"He's having hat again this year?" I whined and Alec smiled.
"What's that?" He asked and I sighed.
"Its like a forced talent show. He picks everyone that gets to sing in front the whole town." I told him and Hope sat down on the other side of him.
"And Tara is one of his star pupils." She added in making me blush.
"You can sing?" He asked and I shrugged.
"Eh, depends on your description of singing." I said and he smiled.
"I bet your a wonderful singer." He said causing me to look at him.
"And you? You have to sing to join choir." I said and he smirked.
"I can't sing." He said making me laugh.
"I'm sure you have it in there somewhere." I said as the teacher walked in. Sure enough the fliers were handed out and I was one of the contestants of his next week talent show. Hope was also chosen along with a few others.
"What song are you going to sing?" I asked her and she sighed.
"Probably last years again." She said looking down.
"Its okay, Hope. I like that song." I said as the clicking of heels came up behind me.
"What song? Oh your freak the freak out one?" Natalya asked and I sighed. She stepped next to me and smiled down at me.
"I'll make sure to bring my ear plugs." She said her red lips moving. I didn't count how many times I wanted to male them redder with my fists. She turned winking at Alec before walking away.
"I swear she's fake." Hope said causing me to slap her shoulder.
"Don't sink that low, Hope." I said turning back to Alec.
