Out of the woods three girls appeared. They walked up facing the wolves as if they were puppy's.
"Hello, Sisca." The middle blond one said. The brunette next to her frowned and rolled her eyes while the other blond looked excited.
"Who's the girl?" The middle blond asked and Sisca sighed.
"She an orphan. She needs help. We are trying to talk her into training." He said and the blond frowned. I realized the bow on her back along with the medal arrows.
"An orphan? An human orphan?" She asked and he scoffed.
"No. She's not whole human like you think." He said and she frowned. She took the bow from her back and before any wolves could react she took it shooting it my way. I dodged it quickly and smoothly. It shattered the window and went halfway in the wall with a boom. She smirked evilly and turned to Sisca.
"I guess your correct. Have you branded her? I must meet this girl. Any wolf that can dodge my arrow is worthy to meet." She said and Sisca hesitantly looked back at Josh. Josh got on all fours and came to the door where I was now standing.
Is she going to shoot me? I asked and he looked at her.
No your safe just stay by me. He said and I nodded grabbing his shoulder and coming out. I walked beside him to the pack and faced her she smiled. She went to take a step forward but I backed up so she stopped looking at her bow. She frowned and took it stabbing it into the ground.
"Hello, Tara." She said and I frowned.
"How do you-" she cut me off by walking forward quickly and grabbing my wrist. Josh growled but Sisca held his hand up. She took my wrist and examined it.
"No brand. She doesn't have a place in your pack yet. Sisca, you know he rules." She said turning and looking at him.
"I know, Denia. We just found her a couple days. She hasn't even chosen to stay." Sisca said and she let go of me. I met her eyes and she frowned.
"I would choose to stay if I were you." She said before turning and grabbing her bow and walking away. The others girls followed her without a word. I watched until they disappeared into the treeline before turning to Sisca.
"What the hell was that?" I asked him and he frowned.
"Those were the Hunter's. They live in the preserve as well. The are suppose to protect all humans from us so we can't turn them. Those girls are the Quinns. Denia Quinn, Lucy Quinn and Veda Quinn." He explained and I crossed my arms.
"What did she mean by a place? And a brand?" I asked and he sighed. He looked at Caspen who nodded and stepped forward.
Tara, we can't tell you until you decide if Sisca is your Alpha. If we are your pack. He said and I looked at him.
"So you have like full control over me?" I asked and he shook his head.
So we have the right to protect you and have you here to live as part of the family. He said and I looked at him.
"Family?" I asked my voice high pitched.
Yes. Like your family. Technically older brothers. He said and I crossed my arms.
