Picture Of the Quinn's

I walked down my stairs and opened the door revealing a beautiful bouquet of roses on my welcome mat. Ever since the performance I would talk to the boys but I stayed at home and kept my distance. Josh had been staying friendly although I could see the want in his eyes. I picked up the roses and carried them into my kitchen getting out a vase. I found the perfect vase with swirls of color that held the roses well. I placed them on a small table in my entry way and turned to walk away when the door bell rang. I opened the door and almost jumped out of my skin at the sigh of the girl. It was Lucy Quinn. One of the hunters from the woods that tried to kill me. She looked different than before, her eyes weren't dressed with make up and she had her long hair up.

"Can we talk?" She asked and I nodded. I was crazy wasn't I? Letting a hunter into my home. She stepped in allowing me to close the door and I led her into the kitchen.

"Would you like a glass of water, soda?" I asked her but she shook her head.

"No thank you, I only came here to speak with you. This must be very strange, a Lycan and Hunter speaking like this but I need help and my sisters won't understand." She said and I nodded.

"I'm in love." She began and I nodded slowly.

"With who?" I asked her cautiously.

"Sam. We are in love. I mean we see each other often even though we are supposed to hate each other." She explained and I sat down across from her at the bar.

"Tell me everything." I told her and she nodded.

"It began when I first met him. I was out alone, the girls were busy, in the woods and came across him sitting on a rock in the clearing watching the stars. Well its your territory so he initially went to kill me because that the punishment but he didn't kill me. He let me live. He seen I was afraid and took me to his spot and showed me all the different stars and stuff. I was so amazed. I began going there more often an he would be there. We began seeing each other away from there and then things changed and now..." She looked down and put her hand on her stomach.

"I think I'm pregnant." She said I felt my heart drop.

"Pregnant?" I asked and she sighed. She looked up and tears were streaming down her face.

"You have to tell him, tell Sisca they'll help." I said and she shook her head.

"No, this was a bad idea." She said standing but I grabbed her arm.

"What would your people do if they found out?" I asked and she looked down.

"Its treason." She said and I sighed.

"Sisca is more forgiving. They'll protect you. Both of you." I said touching her stomach. She looked into my eyes and smiled.

"Thank you." She sobbed before reaching up and hugging me. After he hug I got her some water and we sat down talking some more.

"So you don't know what to choose." She said and I nodded.

"I would be the same if I were in your shoes. If it was for me now I could just marry Sam and everything would be great but its not like that. The only true voice I would take in your situation is Josh." She said and I looked at her.

"Why do you say hat?" I asked and she smiled.

"He loves you. Don't you love him?" She asked and I looked down. Did I love Josh? Could we be together? I looked up at her and she smiled.

"I-I don't know." I stood and she sighed. She stood and walked over placing her hand on my shoulder.

"You'll figure it out." She said gathering her ying's and going to my front door. I jumped up and went after her.

"How?" I asked and she smiled. Her smile reminded me of my mothers.

"Mommy, I'm scared!" I cried as she held out her hands to me. She had put me up in a tree to put a baby bird back in its nest but now I was stuck in the top of the tree.

"Don't worry, little bird. I'll catch you if you fall." She hummed as she watched.

"I want you to come down, little bird. Just take it one branch at a time." She sang and I took a deep breath. I grabbed the branch and stepped down balancing on it.

"That's it, Little Bird." She cheered as I got down another level. When I reached the lowest branch she got me and pulled me into a big hug.

"See you did it! Maybe instead of a bird you can be my monkey." She said tickling me.

"Just talk to him." Lucy said smiling at me before opening the door and walking out to her car. It had gotten dark now and was a bit chilly. I watched her get in and drive away before my next move. I grabbed my coat and ran out jumping in my car. I drove to the house and got out walking up the steps. I was almost there when I was stopped.

"You can't go in there." Zacar said holding his arm in front of me.

"Why?" I asked and he looked down. He looked as if he was a ninth grader asking a girl to prom.

"Because, uh, er, Josh, he's busy." He said nodding and I frowned.

"Doing what?" I asked him and he choked.

"Homework?" He said more as a question. I stepped forward but he jumped in front of me.

"Uh, Tara, just don't go in there." He said and I frowned deeper. He looked into my eyes and I felt hurt by his actions. Did he not want me to be part of the family?

"If you go in there. You'll be hurt." He said and my confusion turned to rage. I pushed past him and opened the door to the house. I went to Josh's room and knocked. Zacar was behind me when the door opened revealing half naked Natalya.
