Picture of Natalya
After school I got home and went straight into the studio to work. I only had a few days to work before the actual performance. I worked for hours on end until I got my song together and went up to bed at eleven. I fell asleep and was dreaming when a loud howling noise woke me from my wonderful sleep. I sat up and looked out the window which reached across to the Roberts old house first bedroom window. I saw something run by it, it was a big animal. Standing out of bed I grabbed my sweater pulling it over my PJs and traveled down the stairs and out my front door and across the lawn to Alec's front door. I knocked four times and the howling stopped. I was standing there wen the sound of struggle and glass breaking made me jump. I learned my lesson about the house once so I took a few steps back. That's when I realized the front window was open and the curtains were flowing out like silk.
"Alec? Alec? Are you in there?" I called out hut nobody answered. I debated going in hut gave up walking home and going back to bed. As soon as my head hit the pillow though, the animal began howling again. I cursed and rolled over wrapping my head in my pillow and falling in and oy of sleep all night. At some point I faded into deep dream.

I opened my eyes revealing my bedroom except it was darker, and more gloomy. I looked to the left noticing my window was no open and the howling had stopped. The window across was open as well and in it stood a tall dark figure. He was covered in hair and had bright yellow eyes that made mine water."Alec?" I called out an it grunted before jumping across the gap and into my room.

I woke that morning with a pounding headache. I went down and made cereal to eat. Sitting at the table I watched it become soggy until it was all just a top layer of moosh. Last night had me spinning in circles. Not only had I not gotten much sleep but I had nightmares and my back ached from not sleeping correctly. I tried to rub it but it made it worse so I just decided to leave it. I debated driving but then took into consideration that I was sleepy and my car was comfortable o I trudged out an met the bus to school. When I got there every little whisper or stared agitated me. I found myself sending daggers in all directions before I got to my locker. I out the numbers in but nothing happened making my growl."Need help?" Hope asked and I nodded. She knew my combo and putting it in and opening my locker. I got my things out and shut it.
"You look tired what happened?" Hope asked and I blew my short hair back.
"Alec's stupid dog kept me up all night last night." I told her and she nodded.
"Have you seen him today?" I asked and she looked around.
"No." She said and I nodded. The bell rang and we went to class. By the time fifth period came around Alec appeared with both his hands taped up and stitches on his chin.
"What happened to you?" I asked him and he looked down.
"House accident." He said and I nodded.
"You?" He asked and I sighed.
"Well your dog kept me up all night. And I had nightmares and slept wrong." I said and he sighed.
"Sorry, I'll make sure to keep it quiet next time." He said looking away.
"Yeah, well it would be nice. I was so tired this morning I couldn't drive and had to ride the stinky bus." I said complaining he looked down and sighed.
"I can give you a ride home if you want?" He offered and I looked at him.
"Okay." I said and he smiled. I turned back to my papers and he watched. I looking over a little and noticed a small scratch on his arm, nail marks. After school I met him in the parking lot and he lead my over to his car. An old pickup truck.
"Sorry I drove this this morning, it was easier than the car." He said and I nodded getting in. He got in as well and turned it on pulling out.
"So doesn't your mom or dad get mad that your dog howls?" I asked and he tensed up.
"Moms, dead. Dad I don't know. I live alone." He said and I smiled.
"Except your dog." I corrected him and he nodded.
"Did I wake your parents last night?" He asked and I gulped.
"Um, no, well I live alone too." I said and he cocked an eyebrow.
"Really?" He asked and I nodded. I had never told anybody except Josh so I wasn't really okay with telling him everything.
"My mom and Dad got in a car accident when I was thirteen. I've been alone ever since." I told him and he nodded.
"You live in such a big home. Who supports you?" He asked and I looked down.
"I do." I said ad he looked at the road.
"Oh."
