Howling To The Moon

Chapter 14

I woke up the next day, went down stairs to find it quiet and everybody was sitting at the kitchen table eating.

"Hey, guys." I greeted all of them and they sent me smiles as I sat down. I noticed everyone was here except Sisca and Josh.

"Where's Sisca?" I asked just before the back door slammed and the two entered through the kitchen before going in the living room. I put my fork down and followed them.

"So your just going to let her play this game? Don't I have a say in any of this? I claimed her before she even met you." I heard josh whisper and walked in.

"Josh, your being irrational. You brought her here and this is her decision, if you were truly her friend you would let this happen." Sisca said and I stepped out.

"No, she's going to break their hearts." Josh said. His back was towards me so when Sisca seen me he didn't.

"Break their hearts?" I said choking half the words out.

"What am I a bad person now because I want a choice?" I asked and he turned.

"No! You just don't need to play them to choose. I'm right here. You know you love me!" He rolled and I scoffed.

"Your right! I do love you! But never like you think. Your more of my brother, my best friend." I said and he stepped forward grabbing my arms. I could smell a faint alcohol on him.

"Your wrong! I'll show you!" He yelled and pressed his lips to mine. I didn't pull away by I also didn't kiss him back. He pulled away, tears in his eyes, and looked down.

"Did I prove it now?" I asked quietly although I know the rest of the guys were watching. He took my arm and pulled me to him but I pushed him back trying to get free. He just squeezed my arms tighter causing me to cry in pain. Finally Alec stepped froward and ripped his arm off me and pushed him back.

"Back off, Josh!" Alec growled and I stepped behind Alec tears streaming down my face as I touched the spot on my arm.

"Alec get out of my way!" Josh growled before turning. He for on top of Alec and bit into his shoulder. Alec changed as well but he was in human form when Josh piled on him. Josh bit into his shoulder as Alec flipped them and tried desperately to get him to let go. None of the others were stepping in between so I felt myself change. I jumped on Josh's back and ripped him off before sending him in the wall. He growled and recovered and Alec got up beside me. He went for Josh but I stopped him and did it myself tackling Josh to the ground.

Joshua Carson! You knock it of this instant! Your being a dick! I growled I felt something on my back and screamed as he tore my back. He flipped so he was on top of me and began biting my arm. I cursed and brought my knee up into his groin before flipping us and taking my advantage. With one smooth move I kicked his gut and he stopped moving and passed out. I got off him holding my shoulder and walked past the boys sitting down. Sisca placed a blanket over my shoulders and I changed to my human form. My arm had gashes up and down it, and was broken. My body was covered in scratches and marks and I was weak. I stood to go to my room but collapsed. Alec had changed and put shorts on before he rushed to my side and picked me up. He kept me covered as he carried me down the hall and into my bedroom laying me on the bed. He went to move the blanket but I stopped him.

"I have to we your injuries." He said and I shook my head.

"I'm fine." I said and he went to argue but I shook my head. He stood and walked out. I felt something inside me get sad when he left but I sat up even though I had pain and moved the blanket. I looked at the bloody gashes and when I seen no big bad damaged I stood and dressed myself before walking into the bathroom. I got a clothes needle and some surgical threads and fixed my poor arm before bandaging the rest. I knew I would have to go to the hospital but I had to find a good excuse first. I went out finding the boys all sitting in the living room. They all looked like someone died but when they seen me they instantly cheered up.

"Are you okay?" Blake asked standing.

"Yeah, I'll need to go to the hospital though." I said and Sisca stood and nodded.

"I'll take you." He said and I nodded. The rest of the boys seemed to disperse and sneak around. I follow Sisca to his car and we got in but when he tried to start it, it just seemed to growl.

"Something's wrong. I'll have Caspen take you." He said and I nodded. He got Caspen and Caspen lead me to his car where we got in and it started just fine. He was driving down the road when he broke the silence.

"What are you going to tell them?" He asked and I looked down.

"I was attacked by a dog when I went for a walk." I said and he nodded.

"I know your not in the mood but...." He said and I looked towards him before he pulled out a hidden box of cookies.

"Cookie?" He asked making the same face that Finn Rider off of Tangled made. I burst into a fit of laughs which he silently shared as we pulled into the hospital. We got out and I walked into the emergency part. I signed in and sat expecting the long wait ahead to be boring when Caspen and Alec appeared in the doorway. They sat next to me while Caspen his something behind his back.

"What are you doing here? You don't have to wait with me." I told them but they shook their head.

"Oh but we do and we have to do something fun." Alec said making me smile. Caspen moved his hand and from behind his back came a board game. Not only any board game but my favorite board game Monopoly!

"Oh my god how did you know!?" I squeaked and they laughed.

"A little bird." Alec said before snatching the box from Caspen.

"I call banker!" I shouted and they laughed.

"But I'm like always banker." Caspen pouted and I shook my head.

"Stick to lawyer." I said and he smiled.
