Hello there...*scratches scalp awkwardly*. So it hasn't been 3 months...it's been six. I'm a horrible human being, but bear with me here. Remember that if you kill me:

1. You'll never see how this story ends.

I'll give you a recap later on, I'm writing at midnight, not a good time for me....Y'all know ya love me <3

I followed Adwoa and Jacob silently, sensing that this wasn't something to be messed around with. Adwoa opened the huge wooden door and we entered the dark damp corridor, which had a lot of smaller doors and dirty windows on each side.

We made a lot of twists and turns until I couldn't even figure out where I was anymore. Adwoa seemed to know where she was headed, and Jacob just followed so I decided to do the same.

Suddenly, a thought struck me. What if they're the ones who kidnapped Rose? I thought. What if they're going to take me too?

I started panicking, feeling the slimy, mildew covered walls for an escape. Totally ewky.

"Relax, we're not going to kidnap you," chuckled Jacob, without even looking back.

"Who, m-me?" I giggled nervously. "I'm totally relaxed. In fact, I've tapped into my inner relaxedness." I took a deep breath in and gagged at the smell.

"See?" I coughed.

"Hmm," nodded Jacob. "You didn't let me finish. We're not going to kidnap you per se, we just need a bit of your blood for a little- let's call it research."

"WHAT?!" I screamed , and the echo bounced of the walls.

"Shush you guys!" hissed Adwoa. "People are around!"

"Wait, people live here?" I asked in astonishment.

"They don't call this the servant's quarters for no reason," said Adwoa, a note of bitterness in her voice.

I stood in silence, unsure of what to say.

"I can't believe you actually fell for that!" laughed Jacob, in an attempt to lighten the mood. "You're not even worth kidnapping!"

He started walking away.

"Hey!" I called out, completely forgetting Adwoa's warning. "What's that supposed to mean?"

"It means what I said," he called out.

"I am too worth kidnapping," I retorted childishly and in a most unladylike manner (oh, Louisa would be proud.)

"In fact..." I thrust my arms out. "See how much trouble I'm worth."

He looked at my outstretched hands, then at my face, then my hands, and said "Narh!" before stalking off.

"Ah, are you being for real Jacob?"

"Nope, I just don't want to kid-"

"Would the two of you just cut it out already?" sighed Adwoa, exasperated. "If anybody finds out I brought you down here, I'm as good as dead!"

"Sorry," I said meekly. Jacob muttered something that sounded suspiciously like "Always the bossy boots," but Adwoa didn't comment.

After walking for another five minutes, we reached our destination. There was a regular sized wooden door which was rooting at the edges. Adwoa opened it with pride and entered, closely followed by Jacob and me.

The room was so small that Jacob's head literally brushed the ceiling. A small, plain, narrow, wooden bench with a thin mattress on it seemed to serve as a bed and a small suitcase was under it. The walls were sparsely decorated with framed pictures and quotes. A closer look showed the quotes were mainly from the Bible.

Speaking of bibles, there was a well worn one on the hole riddled pillow. It seemed that the owner had made extremely good use of the book.

"Whose room is this?" I asked.

"It's mine," Adwoa said, her voice laced with pride.

"How come you live under the palace?" I asked, curiosity getting the better of politeness.

"I-I-" Adwoa stuttered.

"Let's not talk about that," said Jacob. "Let's talk about how to keep you here. Forever."

He walked towards me, rubbing his hands together maniacally and cackling.

"Not funny," I said, rolling my eyes.

"Nobody said this was a joke," he smiled, evilly.

I slowly crept away, unsure of whether or not it was a prank. When I got to the door, I pushed it but it wouldn't budge. I jiggled the knob furiously, as I screamed.

"You're never leaving, doll," he said evilly.
